He is fascinating prospect because at 19 years old because of his size and length is unheralded at LB and he is truly a one of kind prospect.
He has the speed and fluidity to cover the slot when needed and could match up 1 on 1 with Rob Gronkoski with no safety help which is very rare.
As the person on the film puts it though he has ton to grow into, and needs to be a place that will help refine his game to develop patience and rid himself of the false steps.
Best line of the video, "I'm sure every coach watching his film is saying, Tremaine Edmunds doesn't even no what the f*ck he is doing yet, and he is still the best guy on the field!'
FILM REVIEW OF TREMAINE EDMUNDS - (
New Window )
He is going to be one of the youngest players ever drafted.
He needs a lot of work. Coverage looks good there but responsibilities in college are far different than the pros. A lot of offensive variables that I think he will struggle to pick up on. He needs to be a pass rusher first and use athleticism.. He would worry me in top 10 and not an option for the Gmen.

I think the things he struggles with are just patience. Which can be taught. He flashes the all around ability to shed blockers with his rangy limbs.
The art of covering is something that isn't so easy to come by as an LB. He was quick enough to cover slot WRs in college 1 on 1. That is super rare.
I think Suh and/or Ngata were close.
Those are very big questions that may make a huge difference in determining his future in the league.
You always have to wonder how much of a player's "lack of instincts" is due to a true lack of instincts or simply inexperience. Gamble on that and lose and that player is not long for the league.
Yes, he is only 19! And, yes, he is a physical phenom! So he may very well develop into an extraordinary LB.
But also might not. I'm not going to make that bet.
