Just curious who thinks WR might be a surprisingly high pick for us in Draft, say 2nd or 3rd Rd? Everybody is looking at QB or Barkley in 1st, OL in 1st or 2nd, and maybe hoping LB or more OL in 2nd or 3rd. But look at the WR cupboard and it is bare. We have one stud -- and he is coming off injury and will soon want $$$$ -- and the solid Shepard -- a slot guy who might have already reached his ceiling. After that, it's a bunch of nobodies. I know next to nothing about this year's crop. More interested in just, Do you think we could/should go WR much higher than is being talked about?
Deshawn Hamilton Penn State
Cedric Wilson Boise St
This never ending obsession w WRs was part of Reeses’s shitty roster building. Every other NFL team finds complementary WRs after rd 3. Time for the Giants to do that.

So. In a trade down scenario with lots of extra picks? OK.
Or fifth round or later.
However, considering that 260lb TEs can also help in the run game I could see one of those being drafted early.
Wala, you just gained a sometimes first round quality WR. E.E.
And killed two birds with one stone. Improved your run game and added a blue chipper WR (who is already on the roster).
Never mind that he will still wear a TE # and go in line at times. So what?
Year after year the same refrain:
"Wow, those guards just went ten picks before we expected. Oh well"
As one example. LBs....

Steve Smith, Sr and Mike Mayock of NFLN, during the Combine, called DaeSean Hamilton the best route runner in the draft...just FYI.
Gallup in the 4th but might be gone.
Miller foot injury age or Callaway conduct very special talent in the fifth.
