I disagree. This is said every off-season. What do you really expect? The entire all-pro team to hit the open market all at once?

You may be right but they could be working on a contract right now or he may be signed later in the coming weeks.

I think Connor Barwin
Breeze_94 : 3/11/2018 8:56 pm : link
would be a nice under the radar signing. He always seemed to kill the Giants. We need depth, and he will be cheap because of his age. I think he could thrive in a reduced role similar to what Chris Long did down the stretch for the Eagles. He has also played both 4-3 and 3-4 and will be a good locker room presence.

Not even close. You can get CB's and we do have a 1st RD pick that needs to play better. Our Online has NOTHING... NOTHING!!! The whole offense is worthless without some semblence of an OLINE. CB's can be protected some by scheme and a pass rush. The offense can't protect an oline much without sacrificing the , well, offense!

As the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes heats up, sources say at least 2 teams are prepared to offer the free agent QB a 3-year, fully guaranteed contract if that’s what it takes. At least one other team will do a similar deal nearly fully guaranteed. Would make him the highest paid QB.

The #Vikings have been considered to be in the driver’s seat for Kirk Cousins and that hasn’t changed (yet). The expectation is he takes at least 1 — maybe 2 — visits before signing. Cousins doesn’t want to be Brock Osweiler & end up in a bad fit.

Kirk Cousins may be close to a deal over the next few days. But he won’t finalize anything until he meets with coaches & others. That means Wednesday or more likely Thursday for a final decision.

Gotcha. Personally I hope we move on from both but i wouldn’t be surprised to see one of them back, if only because aside from a few guys that teams will be competing against each other for, there isn’t a great crop to replace them this year.

taking best guesses and hoping the shit he's throwing at the wall eventually sticks.
Ladarius Webb

released by Baltimore. He'd be a decent veteran safety pickup.

Antdog,

You heard anything about some FA targets?
the only thing more annoying
fkap : 3/12/2018 12:57 pm : link
than people responding to slade, is people jabbering away on a thread dedicated to breaking news.

My sources tell me they are currently negotiating with Norwell but SF is on the other line on Norwell's phone waiting to put in their counter offer. Meanwhile, we're on hold right now with Webb's agent.
Slade with a pathetic attempt to get something right
Jay on the Island : 3/12/2018 1:00 pm : link
It was reported days ago that the Giants had interest in Robinson now with the release of DRC they are clearly in the market for CB help. So Slade looks around for rumors then passes them off as his inside information or he looks at available players at an area of need.
Very different year with DG running the show.
Beer Man : 3/12/2018 1:16 pm : link
Last year at this time we were receiving info from a number of AssHats (some good, some bad). This year its been crickets.
do you think Norwell feels any loyalty to DG
CMicks3110 : 3/12/2018 1:17 pm : link
given he gave him his chance in Carolina?

Man you always swing and miss..

Robinson resigning in philly
Is he? The only stories I've seen so far is that the Eagles are trying to resign him. They have some work to do to get under the cap first. I doubt he would choose the Giants over the Eagles, but nothing is in stone with the Eagles at this time.
I would assume

Many think Andrew Norwell will join the Giants; the 49ers reportedly are trying to prevent that from happening https://t.co/T6Pxn8WdtZ

They're not going to spend $20m on a guard just because they have $70m in space.
