Glad Arrietta got a ring with the Cubs cause he won’t see the playoffs for a while.
Pending how his season goes he could be a nice trade piece at the deadline. No matter what the Phillies have done a nice job of rebuilding.
They haven’t rebuilt anything. Most of their prospects have disappointed.
um no, you have to look outside of Crawford/Franco .....Hernandez is about to hit his prime, Hoskins is showing serious power, Herrera has been steady, is 26 and could hit his potential at any moment, Nerris is going to be a top 10 closer & the pitching rotation of Nola and Eickoff could surprise.
Their big pickup is Frazier with his whopping .213 BA! Yay!
And they are going to trot out the broken-down Cabrera to play 2nd brokenen-down Gonzalez to play 1st, their lineup is pathetic.
as has been said, teams will pay big $$ per year for top guys, but Â

I wouldn't sleep on these guys
Williams Herrera Hoskins altherr outfield is legit. Franco gets 2 months before kingery replaces him.
Pitching is suspect but their plan is definitely working.

I would not have minded seeing Lance Lynn in pinsrtipes for 1 yr at $12 million. Innings eaters are valuable.

That’s not true. They’re just not ready yet.
Let Flores take 2nd base.
Their stinginess stung them in the ass again, thinking the FAs will be too costly for them
