Confused on the first four. Why wouldn't a play in first four team be a 16 seed? I see Syracuse would be 11 seed. Wouldn't it make more sense if your bubble teams are 16 seeds? Why would Syracuse have a better seed then say Iona or Penn in the Midwest? And I'm a Cuse fan. Just confused how that works.
A lot of these conference champions get screwed. Texas Alabama Oklahoma and - pick another shitty - team should have to play Tuesday not teams that earned their conference bids (why all small conferences need a year end tournament no one goes to is another story - just have the top 2 teams meet on the better teams home floor for the title). The Ivy League does it right.
Penn got kinda screwed (I graduated in '98 - we had some decent teams back then) considering the success ivy teams have had in recent years - but they're not very good. Hey a 16 seed has to win at some point right? Fuck it.
