and power outages due to wind/ heavy snow, we're about the 1,000th in line (jk..but you get it) for a generator. Had more power loss the last 2 weeks than in the other years we've been here...now this ugly thing with a minimum of 8" and 30-55mph winds.
Cheesh..
I'm a fan of winter and DC is the worst place to be this year for it. Missed so many storms to the south. One could have played golf every week and had good weather for it this winter.
I got about 12" the other day, lost power at about 2am on Thursday morning and got it back at about 10am Saturday morning. It got down to about 45 Saturday morning in my condo.
Sick of bleeping winter in NE, but I do love where I live.
people were complaining about the lack of snow this winter in MA two weeks ago.
And then we got over a foot last week, if we get another foot tomorrow, we'll be well over our annual average.
never complain about winter in new england when it's still early March.

I remember getting 6 inches of snow in May in MA. But I was there for the winter of '78 storm, too.
Cheesh..
Looks good for spring skiing, so head north, spend lots of money and help reduce my taxes.
Have family in Boston and Portland.... looks like they're going to get whacked again. Guessing my daughter will put on her boots and walk to work.
