NFT: Nor’easter # 4

Already they are predicting a 4th nor easter for next week Tuesday-Wednesday time frame. They could not even get today right they said Nassau was going to get 3-6 inches starting around midnight and four hours has past all I see is rain. I can’t take these weather people anymore hyping every storm up and majority of the time they are always wrong now something is in the works 7 days from now please

They did have some idea. There are still a few hours of snow left. And yes, they are hinting at would MIGHT be next week. But that is a week away and will change many times. IF you are looking to have forecasts exact and right all the time, move to San Diego. There weather is predictable like 97 percent of the time.

How? Isn't it better to have no snow but be prepared than have a shit ton of snow and not know its coming?

when they completely overhype certain storms and it doesn’t happen, it can affect businesses. They tell people not to drive, the snow doesn’t happen, nobody drives anyway, and you’re stuck paying employees and doing no business.

I understand that it is very tough to predict but I can never remember as much overhype about storms in my life. It lately seems more tied to news channel ratings and interest than the actual storm.

I'm getting hammered AGAIN!! Had a conservative 30" base from the last 2 storms, as of now I have another 7/8" (measured 6.5 at 9:30) I use Hudson Valley Weather (They KICK ASS, SO GOOD!!!) & they were calling for 3-6 with "locally" higher amounts up to 8". (locally means higher elevations) I'm at 980' so they're pretty balls on with what I got. SO F'in sick of all this snow & to boot I had tendon re-attachment surgery on my Right Elbow lil over 2 weeks ago so I cant even do my own plowing (old 58 Willy CJ-5 Jeep MANUAL EVERYTHING Hard to operate) and barley any shoveling/Roof clearing.(though I did... had to clear roofs, couldnt sleep at night worrying abt roof collapse under 30+/-" of snow...) Old 1933 Farm House... old & prob build like a brick shit house but it's not brick & have long run roof lines... Lots of HEAVY snow load.
