Should the Giants trade our number 2 overall pick for Norwell and Fournette? Before you all say, "You're nuts," this kills two birds with one stone. We get the guard we so coveted AND we get a stud running back. This would allow the Jags to draft a franchise QB or get a better version of Fournette (Barkley) in the draft.
Just kidding. Lol. But no, I would still go BPA
And has proven his worth as a rookie. It's like saying would they trade the #4 pick + an all-pro interior lineman that they apparently coveted to move up 2 spots. Barkley is going to be good but Fournette is the proven NFL player at this point.
If we put OBJ in the deal?
This one is a little over the top. Be a little more subtle.

Sorry if you consider thinking outside the box "trolling."
Okay, okay...my bad. Carry on.

DG puts a price on a player and he won't budge from that. He is very disciplined and I also think he is very confident he can find his HOG MOLLIES elsewhere...guys who are hungry and want to prove it.
He will NOT overpay for players...especially free agent players. We should understand this because our success in SB 42 and 46 came from adding free agents who fit a role. We didn't go out and pay big money to guys. We vastly overpaid for Vernon and JPP and probably Jackrabbit also.
Reese put us in this position because of consistently lousy drafting and now we are really paying the price. So I say pick up a few of these guys who are hungry, draft Nelson and let's move forward with those who want to play and those who have the hunger to get better. Rather have that than what we've had the last few years. The culture has to change and thank God for that.
in two days for this fucknut.
Awesome stuff to look forward to.
if we just woulda paid more? and Fournette is an injured fourth overall pick. Id rather trade #2 for 4 or more picks.
But why would Jville give up 2 players for 1 pick?
The only possible exception would be the get back a solid though not spectacular OG and a top 7-8 pick and sign a FA RB like Lewis or McK since Fournette is a bit of a headcase( its the LSU water: Badger/Randle/Laundry/OBJ).
I'm guessing Coughlin wouldn't even take call From Giants.
