this team is in real desperate need for top tier offensive linemen.. Let see, all three teams in the Nfc have improved their rosters and all three have pro bowl Offensive linemen. Not a real comforting feeling for Giants fans. smh.
Regardless of the media who desperately need clicks during this time of year - we dont have cash do be buying the big name FA's with all of the holes we need to fill. If we sign Norwell to more money than the Jags offered him then we are left with little to fix the rest of the line, linebackers, secondary, special teams, draft picks and more. The guy traded for Ogletree, signed a few of our existing players, give them a few days to feel out what we can sign in free agency. A lot of the big signings were QB's and WR's which we don't need.
RE: Can we start preparing for next offseason already?
We might as well since we lost out on Norwell. The only franchise changer in FA...
Yeah, we should fold up the fucking tent since we lost out on one free agent. God this place is brutal at times. Norwell is good, but he's not John Freaking Hannah. Only franchise changer in FA...give me a break.

We were prepared to offer Norwell or did offer him (per hitdog) a similar deal to Jacksonville. He chose them. The cap wasn't going to stop us from making the deal though.

Is doing a great job just don't do anything (ok do this go to the office order a $5000 dollar bottle of Chivas enjoy), look at these contracts they are tremendously outrageous for inferior talents. Enjoy that bottle because soon OBJ is going to want you to show him the guaranteed money money money.

Jacksonville will be contending for the duration of his contract. PLUS the whole no state income tax in FLA thing...

All good. Hit the reboot, I bet the irony won't be done until the FA dust settles.
Norwell was the one guy I'd pay for b/c he is only 26 and an all-pro
