I'm a big fan of Brett Jones. He's a very easy person to root for. And I think he'll hold his own this upcoming season. But the idea of someone surrendering a second rounder for him is as likely as Eli leading this team to a third Super Bowl. Ain't gonna happen.

If we're talking about one year deals...why not just sign someone like John Sullivan.

There are Centers available right now who are better than Jones and wouldn't break the bank.

The kid is a tough guy and has talent and played well for us last year

And has a lot of upside he�s still learning American football coming from Canada

I'd rather another team sign him
