My dream draft would be Barkley at 2 and then Jackson with our 2nd round pick. I am no expert just a fan and I know nothing, but ever since I watched Jackson rip apart Syracuse in 2016 I wanted him. I think he ends up the best QB in this class.
Once again, before I'm ripped I know nothing and just a fan. Lol
I initially was hoping to trade down, get extra picks and select Jackson, but he didn't have a great showing at the combine and probably confirmed some of the concerns about accuracy and velocity.

As unlikely as that is, I do think Jackson is being overlooked and will be one of the 2 best qbs in this draft.
He was a guy who needed a good combine and he didn't have it.
So I'm thinking early second. Which I think is most estimations...
It almost has to. Did you see him throwing at the Combine?
He was just aiming everything and not going for it. Seemed like he didn’t want fail versus trying to succeed.
My guess is he gets constructive feedback and adjusts accordingly.

FYI, there's no drill at the combine where prospects try to throw the ball as hard as possible and they measure MPH. I watched him throw and he was purposefully not trying to throw the ball hard to show off accuracy. It was a bad decision because he didn't look very good throwing the ball, but he has a big arm.

to the mid-2nd round. His lack of velocity is a possible game-changer for a lot of scouts.
