That never lived up to his draft position and pre-draft hype

I am probably in the minority, but I'd take Crabtree over Nelson right now.

Crab has played well in Oakland. I'd definitely take him over Nelson. I'd love him here instead of Marshall as well.

he would cost more than marshall no? while id prob take it too, dont think its wise
I'm not sure what his salary
Tim in Eternal Blue : 3/15/2018 4:00 pm : link
Would be... But I can't imagine he'd be getting much more than Marshall.

He's turned into a solid #2. If you told me that our #2 was gonna get 85 catches, 900-1000 yards and 8-9 TDs... I'd take that in a heartbeat.

I'm with you. After a slow start to his nfl career he has been fairly productive the last few seasons.

Crazy that Nelson was considered an elite WR like two years ago.

So would I.
if the money was right he
msh : 3/15/2018 4:25 pm : link
might be a good replacement for marshall as he is an outside WR with some size which they do need but i think he is looking for more money than the giants would be looking/able to spend
good was
Rory : 3/15/2018 4:39 pm : link
concerned the Cowboys were going to pursue if his price went down.

Crabtree over Nelson. No contest.
I couldn't stand him
St. Jimmy : 3/15/2018 7:08 pm : link
when he was on the Niners. Always seemed to be running his mouth.

His numbers are solid, but he gets pulled into head games with other loudmouth DBs (Sherman, Talib) way too often. I can just imagine him and Norman butting heads. Would make Beckham vs. Norman look like a picnic.

was absolutely terrible this year. I think Nelson is done or damn close. He looked much slower this year. That said, in the first 6 weeks with Rodgers he played 5 games. He averaged 58 yds/game (928 projected for 16 games) and 1.2 tds/game (projects to 19 tds for 16 games). He fell off the planet once Hundley took over. Crabtree didn't have the excuse of playing with Hundley. In fact he had better opportunities to produce with Cooper hobbled much of the year. Down the stretch they relied more on Roberts who outgained him the last 7 weeks of the season. I think both wrs are in their last 2 years, but I have more confidence Nelson will bounce back with a solid qb than Crabtree producing anywhere.
Crabtree is very underrated.
Keith : 3/15/2018 11:02 pm : link
Outplayed cooper the last few years. That offense has been a mess, not his fault.
Shocker

Crabtree has been in the league for 9 years seems like just four or five years ago he was the talk of the NFL world after his slow 40 time. Can't say he was a total bust but in truth the production never really came close to the hype.

I am sure I would love him if he was a Giant. I could not stand that Niner team mostly because Harbaugh. It is funny because I don't care about what he does at Michigan or what he did when he was at Stanford. He only annoyed me because of 2011 and it stuck throughout his time with the Niners.

has played really well for the Raiders and would be a nice get for most any team. That said he will make about 8 mill per season.
