Absolutely, Gettleman said. He's a big, strong powerful kid and it's just a matter of getting used to playing over there.
I still think he may be better served in the interior. But what do I know...
I mean....its very apprent he was referring to RT when he mentioned the signing of his replacement at left tackle. I GUESS he can be suggesting that he meant both positions G and T. But we are going to be prioritizing Flowers as a RT first.

He also stated the best 5 will play. So Gettleman said to Flowers "We'll try you on the right side. Maybe RT or RG. All that we can say is the best 5 will play, good luck"
At no point did Gettleman say where, if anywhere Flowers will start.
Me too, but I'm sure if he has a good year at RT, he will go into free agency saying he wants to be a LT. I wouldn't blame him, but he'll be gone. Best case scenario, adequate starter, or solid backup, gone next year.

Yeah, it's been pretty clear for a couple of years now that Pugh wanted out.
The 5th year option deadline is in the beginning of May 2018. Based on his body of work to date, I'm 99.99% confident that the Giants will not elect to pickup his option and guarantee $14.4M.

Agreed, if he can't win the starting spot at RG or RT I don't want him on the team. I am worried how he will behave if he is demoted to a backup role. I doubt he will be a good soldier about it. Regardless of how he plays this is Flowers' last season with the Giants IMO.
