Don't be a jerk. So if we draft the guy you're going to spend the next ten years kvetching?

Rosen will make 1 team very happy

This is the one player I don’t want them to draft. I’d take Mayfield over him. I wouldn’t be surprised if some teams don’t even have them as a first round pick on their draft board. Two concussions in his Junior season with no bowl performance because he wasn’t cleared to play is not a good sign. The way a player performs in bowl games plays pretty large in where they are selected in many cases, especially a year like this where it seems like there is no consensus on a top guy at QB.
My thing with him
allstarjim : 3/17/2018 8:10 pm : link
Is escapability, being able to extend plays, throw on the run, make things happen when the play breaks down. I don't see that with him, and I think those are qualities that are b coming more and more important in the modern NFL.
The Rosen hate...

Rosen is one of the top three QBs in this draft. The guy throws darts all over the field and played in a pro-style offense.

Your statement is ridiculous.
He sure throws a great ball

Big hands as well. Love the zip on his throws and his confidence .

Then you haven't watched Rosen play. Far more athletic than you give him credit for.

Not even in the first round? Wow, just wow. Question, how many concussions has Nat Solder has? Answer 4

mmm while i disagree with his post, solder is a horrible comparison IMO. youre talking about your future QB who has more value than any other position. a QB with injury concerns that you take 2 overall is a serious issue. that being said, if his medicals check out i am GOOD with rosen. kid can play and is easily the best passer in the draft

My point is concussions are going to be checked out surely by all teams, as the Giants checked out Solder, but using that as a basis for why he wouldn't even be considered in the 1st round is utter ludicrous.
For injuries you consult with your medical staff
UberAlias : 3/17/2018 10:41 pm : link
I feel there is a contingent of NYG fans who will never favor a guy who has had injuries, probably because we’ve had so many. But the reality is it is a physical game and they happen. At the end of the day you trust what your medical staff tells you. I don’t get the sense the injuries are going to be a huge detriment to Rosen’s draft status, but we will see. I could be wrong.
Most of us have no idea what's in these player's histories anyway.
Ten Ton Hammer : 3/17/2018 10:52 pm : link
Just because a player doesn't miss games doesn't mean they're healthy. Joe Thomas said the reason he retired was that he was sick of taking painkillers to manage all his ailments.

Guy was out there every week. You wouldn't have known anything was wrong.

I don't think most people here know Collins played on a bum ankle all season. He flat out told the papers that they were scheming him specifically to remain away from too much action in the Denver game when he had like 0 tackles.

I've watched the following games of his: Texas A&M, Memphis, Stanford, Colorado, Arizona, Washington, and USC. That's just 2017 games. I also watched the Waldman analysis of all of his 2017 interceptions he's thrown.

My criticism isn't new from what Mayock has said either, for one. Do want to tell Mike Mayock he hasn't seen Rosen play?

I didn't say he was completely unathletic, either. He can run a little (so could Peyton Manning at that age, too).
