Specifically at 1 and 4? Everybody is formulating this idea that the Browns will try and hit the draft powerball by getting their franchise QB and game changing back at the top two draft positions. But with Thomas jetting and the Bills frantically trying to vault into the top 4, I could see the Browns listening to the Bills for their other 2 firsts plus and targeting Roquan and McGlinchey with the next two picks.
Every time I hear about the Browns being loaded with talent sans a QB, I scoff. Teams lile that manage to win more than 1 game in 2 seasons. They have drafted exceptionally poorly and the few good ones they have taken (Haden, Mack, Joe Thomas) their times ran out. Sure they have some young players with talent like Garrett, Bitonio, Josh Gordon. But this team still needs to build.
The reason I am bringing this up? This idea of trading down with them to get an extra pick or two seems crazy to me. I think they are still looking to acquire picks, not maximize on top of the draft talent. They blew a first on Kizer last year and now they have 4 of the first 35 picks. I have a feeling they trade with Buffalo to make that six.
So no.
Since they have three 2nd round picks they could use two of them to move up into the 15-25 range to grab a LT like Williams or McGlinchey. I think a trade up is most likely.
In addition to their 1's they have three two's, and the first pick in the 3rd Rd. That gives them six of the top 65 picks. That's not even counting all the picks they have in rds 4-7. I don't see them needing or wanting more picks, if anything I can see them using some picks to move up for more top talent.
The only way I could see them trading back for anything would be the 4 to Buffalo if they could get their two 1's back. They might see the 12 and 22 talents being worth more than just the one guy at 4.
I think the Bills stay put unless the trade is with us (I can't see this either).

I think you're right about the 4th option but it's possible on draft day the guy they really like is there at 4, and they call Cleveland. Odds are he is gone but there's a chance he isn't.
We really don't know who will be the top three QBs to go. I can see any of the top guys still being there at 4 except Darnold. Most seem to think he's a lock for 1 or 2, while some have Allen up there with him, others have Rosen. I could honestly see a team ( the Jets ) loving Mayfield making it possible Rosen or Allen are there at 4.
Fact remains we don't know how it's going to fall and maybe the guy Buffalo really wants is there and Cleveland listens.
Either way it's going to be fun to speculate and watch it all unfold.Especially for Giants fans as I think they're in a great spot and can do so many things with their pick, including trading back once to 3 and again to 5. Or taking a top QB themselves or Barkley at 2.

Thats what I was getting at...trading with Buffalo. There are several very good RBs available this year. Using the 22nd pick to grab McGlinchey and then having Michel/Guice/Chubb at the top of the 2nd is very probable.
