Falk's got good size and moves around well in the pocket, but he is not an athlete. He's hard to bring down, but was sacked a lot due to poor protection. His experience is in a spread offense, but is smart enough to pick up a pro system. He's pretty accurate and has a good arm. Over four years at college he completed over 68% of his passes and threw 119 td's to 39 int.
I'm not saying that we shouldn't go qb in the first round, but if we do trade down, he'd be a guy we can draft to compete with Webb.
Kyle Lauretta on the other hand surprised me in a positive way.

100% agree in Lauletta. His feet are excellent, his release is quick, keeps his eyes down field with pressure. Good size at 6'3" 220 lbs.
Not sure what his velocity was at the Combine, but in highlights it looked very poor.
They do if you mush them together into one QB.
Lauletta has apparently drawn attention from NYG.
Did the Redskins undermine their RG3 decision by taking Cousins in the 4th round of the same draft? Its better to have 2 QBs with decent talent fighting it out for 1 spot than one. Ensures the best player wins the spot.
Falk doesn't have a lot of mobility, and has been pummeled. More than 120 sacks in his career IIRC. 70% of his passes were also within 10 yards of the LOS. Decent are strength, but not elite.
I don't see the point in drafting him since we already have Webb, who has a stronger arm.

I agree, for me it's QB at 2 or not at all. They can't afford to spend another pick on a developmental QB a year after doing so.
The Princeton QB I read giants have interest in him ,he did well at his pro day

I don't think Lauletta would be a good fit. He is similar to Case Keenum IMO but his lack of arm strength is obvious and he would be a poor fit for the winter months outdoor at Metlife stadium. If he is protected in a dome he would be far better off. I think too many people are looking for the next Garoppolo and they are wrongly assuming Lauletta is that guy.
