It seems as though everyone thinks the Giants #2 is the most likely landing spot for Buffalo to trade up for a QB. I feel like it’s Cleveland #4. It would be less expensive for Buffalo and Cleveland certainly has holes to fill. They have a lot of picks this year, but they can really stock pile picks for next year and build their team going forward. My gut tells me that the Giants are locked in on a QB at #2. My 2 cents.
I see Cleveland as wanting to draft talent this year, and with the high picks they have, they'll get it. I really don't see them trading back and adding more picks, more likely there a chance of them using a couple picks to move up IMO.
It's possible they see better value this year by trading #4 for 12 and 22, but I'm thinking they want the top tier talent they'd get at 4.
If the Giants take a non-QB, then they could sit tight or trade into the 8-10 range, depending on their rankings.
Once you get past Denver, no one needs a QB until the Bills. They will have more ammunition to jump into that 8-10 range to secure a spot ahead of any trade AZ might make.
The wildcard for me after the top 7 picks is whether or not Miami goes QB at 11.
I think if Barkley is gone at 1.. The Giants trade out of the #2 with the Bills.
Bills get the last laugh on the JETS... and the Giants get a boat load of picks.
Remember Odell was selected with the 12th overall.
I think you can really rebuild this team fast with some high end talent. Also who knows who will fall to #12? If Allen falls to there or Mayfield.. do you take them?
...base on their latest 3-round mock which notes that, with QBs going 1-2-3, the 4th pick could become, "...the key pick in the entire draft," with teams like Buffalo and Denver maneuvering to ensure that they at least get the 4th best QB in this draft.
As others have said, they are likely looking for quality over quantity at this point.
I think it's more likely that they spend 1 and 4 and then look to use some of ammo to sneak into the bottom of the first and walk away with 3 first rounders.
I don't see them moving down at all.

I wouldn't.
If they see that guy in this draft class and he's available at 2, they will take him.
Seriously doubt they trade back.
As Jon said, the Giants likely aren't moving either. The first 4 picks will go Browns, Giants, Jets, Browns. I would be surprised if it didn't.
IK the #4 is far more likely to be a starter/ star than #12, but I think this draft, though not spectacular, has good players down to 40/45 that could be starters, especially at need positions, like CB.
But #12,33,35, and Bills 53&56 picks to move up in the second, maybe twice and get 2 more top 40-45, and maybe get a Bills pick in '19 could be enticing to a guy like Dorsey.
Unless football people disagree with my 40-45 evaluation.
The 12,22,33,35, and 53, at the least, is still a good haul, and their package of picks all together, is good maneuvering assets to work with.
Cleveland goes QB#1. Trades up from 4 to 2 with us to take Saquon. Jets take QB at 3. We then trade out of 4 with the Bills who take their QB.
To go from 2 to 12, we end up with some combination of 1st and 2nds this year and next from Cleveland and the Bills.
It comes down to who they like. If there are three or four they like, they will have to move ahead of Denver at 5 if they want one of them. They also can't really sit at 12 and hope one falls with the Dolphins at 11, the Cardinals at 15, and the Ravens at 16.
First, from Cleveland's perspective they can take their preferred QB at #1 and then grab Barkley at #4 after the Giants and Jets both go QB. And after the Jets move to #3 and the Giants needing a QB, there's no way the Browns are gambling that the guy they want will still be there at #4. Much more likely that 1-3 are all QBs at this point.
From Buffalo's perspective, why give up numerous first round picks for the 4th best QB in the draft? They need new scouts if they think 4 QBs are all "equal" value.
And personally I think the Jets were dumb to make the move to #3 this early. Guarantees Cleveland goes QB at #1 (though I think them taking Barkley #1 and waiting to #4 for a QB was fan BS to begin with). Then you have the Giants at #2 who could easily go QB. And finally, you just telegraphed to all the other QB needy teams (Denver, Buffalo, etc) that they need to make a deal to #2 unless they are OK with the 4th/5th best QB prospect (highly doubt that). So basically, by making the deal now, the Jets significantly upped the odds of getting the 3rd best QB.
The QBs don't have to be equal for Buffalo to like the guy they could get at 4 a lot more than what their choices would be at 12 and to believe that he is a potential franchise QB.
