Report: Vikings-Eagles to open season

BeckShepEli : 3/19/2018 9:58 am
Per PFT.. for those who thought it would be Giants-Eagles or Cowboys-Eagles
Our chances
LakeGeorgeGiant : 3/19/2018 9:59 am : link
of opening in Dallas have greatly increased.
Perhaps they'll finally shake it up
JonC : 3/19/2018 10:04 am : link
it's gotten fooking ponderously BORING.
Well, the NFL sure screwed up
Bramton1 : 3/19/2018 10:04 am : link
What happened to the NFL's policy to schedule Philadelphia at home Week 1 against a cupcake?
Woo hoo
Larry in Pencilvania : 3/19/2018 10:06 am : link
Going to Dallas
Why do they always play in Dallas for the opener?
Jay on the Island : 3/19/2018 10:08 am : link
Why does Dallas deserve the advantage every time?
How about opening vs Washington
Dave in PA : 3/19/2018 10:12 am : link
Too far of a stretch of the imagination?
At this point
LakeGeorgeGiant : 3/19/2018 10:16 am : link
I would be elated if we played Dallas in Jersey.
Hopefully the Vikings'

equipment manager doesn't have to clean out their shorts again at half time.
Can
ryanmkeane : 3/19/2018 10:22 am : link
we get a fucking home game to open the season maybe?
This was kinda obvious
Scyber : 3/19/2018 10:22 am : link
Its a Championship re-match.
Hell I'd settle for Dallas

On a Sunday at 1:00 PM
Love it!!!
superspynyg : 3/19/2018 10:26 am : link
Get to watch the eagles lose the first game of the season to Kirk Cousins.

VIKES REVENGE!!!!
I’m not sure why anyone thought it wouldn’t be Vikes/Eagles
GiantGolfer : 3/19/2018 10:48 am : link
It made the most sense considering it’s the NFC Championship rematch. Jerry Jones would never allow Dallas to open the season against a division rival collecting their rings. And the Giants were a dumpster fire last season, so that matchup wouldn’t be appealing either. It was always going to be Vikings or Atlanta.
The Giants will probably ask the NFL for a 1pm game
arniefez : 3/19/2018 10:51 am : link
on 9/9. We'll see if the NFL goes along.
Boring ...
Creme777 : 3/19/2018 11:24 am : link
Who on earth would wanna watch that game? I am definite ratings will be in the toilet. The Vikings also have to be one of the most pathetic franchises of all-time!

They surely looked like cupcakes vs the Eagles in the Nfc championship game. And we hired the guy who lead them to score 7 points vs our divisional rival?
Good matchup
ZogZerg : 3/19/2018 12:12 pm : link
I like. Cousins with his first Minny start.
its speculation
CGiants07 : 3/19/2018 12:16 pm : link
as the nfl hasnt even finished the preseason schedule and they finish that before moving onto the real thing

I think people forget that they had us opening against Washington several years in a row back in the early to mid 2000's. After we won XLII we opened against them.

They are putting together a real good team. Tough out for us in the opener.
