Yup, and the fact that his father is a neurologist/spine surgeon makes him an even more dicey pick, IMO. You would think he would be much more sensitive, and obviously aware, of the potential for long term damage if his son has any additional head injuries.

He(the father) hasn't had much effect up to now has he? While I'm sure there has been discussion about concussions, if it was so important to the old man, then why is Josh still playing football? It is not necessarily concussions that cause CTE, it is repeated blows (even little ones) that cause the damage.
But, the concussions are the only reason Rosen isn't the clear #1 QB.
Can get rid of a legion on Daniel Bryan’s brain, then I’m sure it can help players with concussions. (That’s IF it’s actually true, which I highly doubt).
It means they had they their medical folks look into it very carefully, and aren't scared off by the concussions the way that most of you are.
And no other draft source has him dropping because of the concussions either.
Frankly, I think he's going to be the first QB off the board, DESPITE all the talk of Darnold, because you don't have to be a pro scout to see that he is BY FAR the best QB in this class -- at least in the NOW.

Didn't it also help Joe Namath? Wasn't he starting to be confused and the hyperbaric treatments "cured" him?

I don't think that you are allowed to sue your dad for medical malfeasance, are you?
Clean mechanics, footwork, throwing motion, soft pass, excellent arm, etc. Highest floor imv. If Darnold goes #1, I'm ok with picking Rosen.
I want Rosen first but if the Giants come away with Darnold I would be just as happy. Rosen has the skills, intelligence, and temperament to handle NY.
a not too mobile QB with multiple concussion history with the second pick in the draft? He will be targeted, if he is that good, by all the defenses guaranteed. No chances here, we need a long time instant starter with this pick.

and too boot Rosen has missed games in 2 out of 3 college seasons. He is injury prone... not worthy of the number 2 in my book.
Why bother with Pat?
+1.
p.s.--He wasn't just slinging it, he was swinging it!
Talk about a masterful misdirection play.
I do find it curious that no one talks about the other QBs injuries
Allen broke his clavical in seven places and injured his shoulder
This is the injury that curtailed Romo’s Career
This is a significant injury
Mayfield has had at least two concussions and one serious one in high school
Don’t know about Darnold’s injury History
But it should be noted that we are not privy to most of the players injuries
HIPA regulations prohibit the disclosure of injuries

Get him a good offensive line and don't look to set up your team as a throw the ball "megatimes" offense. Then he should be fine.

But the concussions scare the hell out of me.
