Just a fun, hypothetical question, a diversion from the endless normal speculation. Is there any current NFL player you would consider trading away the #2 overall pick for? Do any of the young QB's show enough promise? Wentz, Goff? Cam is a little more seasoned? Are there enough years left in any of the older, established QB's? Any other game changers worthy of a swap? JJ Watt? Just curious what others may think.

Sorry. I was just thinking that Rosen's concussions are supposedly such a problem but Wentz's ACL isn't?
Norwell for Nelson people?
Bosa for Chubb people?

Bosa for Chubb people?
No- those players (except for Bosa) are 5 years older than Barkley/Nelson, paid double the salary, and have lower ceilings IMO.
Bell is great, but I think Barkley will be better. Plus, Bell only has about 250 less touches in his career than Jonathan Stewart does. That is not even a seasons worth of touches in the difference between the odometer on Stewart and Bell. Not comparing the 2, just showing how much usage Bell has gotten which could potentially lead to him declining sooner than expected.
Norwell is good, and had one great year, but I think Nelson is a better player today than Norwell and he will prove that this season.

Bosa for Chubb people -> absolutely since Bosa is a) still on his rookie deal and b) thought more highly of than Chubb. Bosa is also only 23 (by season's start).
Bell vs Barkley -> not remotely comparable with Bell likely to get at least 2x as much per season and being 26 with >1200 career carries already.
Norwell - again, factoring in age and current compensation, this would also be a no for me, though I'm not in favor of taking a G at #2 anyway.
One of the big advantages of a draft pick is that they are cost controlled for 4-5 years so if they excel, you get a star player at substantially below market cost (see Beckham). With that in mind, your hypothetical would be much more interesting if you substituted Elliott or Fournette for Bell and say Conklin (or Tunsil) for Norwell.

Those are some high expectations for Barkley as Bell is arguably on track for the HOF.
Wentz is much better than Goff. Goff is a system QB, doesn't have the feel for the game that Wentz does.
Wentz or Myles Garrett would be my choices.
