NFT: Best Conference Room Smart TV

Giantimistic : 3/21/2018 3:01 pm
Anyone have advice on what the best smart TV would be to buy to put up in a conference room that allowed for wireless mirroring of all types of devices including apple and android as well as other potential good presentation or business uses. For example is there a smart tv that you could open your google drive on or just plug in a thumb drive with a powerpoint presentation that you could avoid using a computer all together.

Also looking for the $500-$600 range or less.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thank you
Smart TVs are generally not very smart

Their interfaces are clunky and genetally suck. USB plugs that will let you run a slideshow are pretty common, but you have limited control over it. And nothing that will universally let you connect any kind of device wirelessly.

Just buy whatever works and use devices like Google Chromecast, Apple TV etc to provide connectivity.

For the same thing for a move to a new office. I’m looking at the Samsung 8000 series. It has miracast (formally WiDi) compatible screen sharing that is a priority for me.
