Is it really Thursday already?? I'm not complaining though. Really love tonight's slate and think we're in for a solid night of basketball.

Here are the times: (EST)

7:07 on CBS - Nevada vs Loyola
7:37 on TBS - A& M vs Michigan
9:37 (Probably closer to 10) on CBS - Kentucky vs Kansas St
10:07 (Closer to 10:30) on TBS - Gonzaga vs Florida St


7:07 on CBS - Kansas vs Clemson
7:27 on TBS - West Virginia vs Villanove
9:37 on CBS - Syracuse vs Duke
9:57 on TBS - Purdue vs Texas Tech

Michigan is up 5 with 12 seconds left. You get a quick 3, say with 5 or 6 seconds left, you are down 2 and you could get a steal with that press or foul immediately and hope they miss FTs again

Leonard Hamilton was just protecting his kids in the postgame, otherwise his postgame answer is almost a fireable offense. If Michigan was the #1 shooting free throw team you still foul, nevermind 321. This isnt a mid january game, it's the elite eight, play it out til the final whistle

Agreed. On first listen last night, it came off sounding like he thought he was down more than he was. To give him the complete benefit of the doubt, maybe he thought once Robinson had the ball it was a wrap because he was a 90% FT shooter. Strange either way.

that gets away with lots of contact on defense in the tournament. Big East teams often used to complain about how the NCAA tournament was officiated more tightly than the Big East games...somehow Nova plays the same way and doesn't get penalized in the tournament

Paschall got away with a clear foul on that Texas Tech layup attempt (hook on the arm). Nova gets a fast break and scores to push the lead to 7

I agree they seemed to get away with a couple of fouls, but not sure Tech didn't too. Don't think they were game-changers. Tech is good defensively but 'Nova is a better all-around team, definitely as rebounders.

They can't play man defense. They were a horrific defensive team before switching to zone

their two bigs cant defend, especially against a team with 4 shooters. They have played zone the last 10 games or so. They are a bad man to man team.

Kansas figured this zone out pretty quickly. Though they are built to do so with their guards and shooting ability. Villanova would tear this up too

but the block call on Carter was the game changing call. If they call a charge, Duke has the ball and the lead. 2 successive possessions his backup screwed up.

of a team full of one and dones, but Duke seems sloppy and poorly coached at times. Bagley didn’t see the ball nearly enough

but I’ve seen far less be called a charge. Would rather see Carter just contest the shot. Considering his length it’s the far less risky move
