guess you slept for 2016? this team has talent....we sucked last year yes but um missing your best player might have contributed to that? maybe a shit ol and no run game helped that along? i mean you couldnt see a difference once mcadoo was shown the door? the run game looked better IMMEDIATELY. we stay healthy and add a talent like barkley, you will feel good about this offense this year....

C'mon there is so much parody in the NFL, you never know who will be good or bad in a given year especially with injuries (except the Pats, Jets and Browns). To your points, OL will be improved, LB's are younger and more talented and we possible still don't know who the starting RB even is. RB's interchange on teams often.
I think our D will be a monster this year. Betcher will bring an aggressive style with guys lined up everywhere. Tons of talent on D especially up the middle (Snacks, Ogletree, Collins). Offense will surprise people if the Oline is even half decent. Throw Barkley on this team and I think you'll be surprised, at least for the next two years as you mentioned. If they pick a QB, then we'll have our guy for the future.

I am definitely in agreement and hoping to build for the future 2+ years, but at the same time the NFL changes drastically from year to year. Look just at the defense. 2016 they were top 3 in the league. A year later with mostly the same players, they are bottom of the league. Injuries, yea maybe, but that is my point. Who expected the Eagles to be so dominant all year long? Who expected the Vikings to be in the NFC championship with Keenum? There are very few things constant year to year except the Pats winning and Browns losing. Look at 2016 to 2017 for the Giants. Playoffs to 3-13? Eagles 7-9 to SB champs. Everyone picks a different NFC East winner each year and it mostly never holds true. Not saying the Giants make the playoffs this year and don't look back the next ten years, but tough to predict not being 500 for two straight years IMO unless you are the Browns or Jets.

youre so off base its pretty scary. they drafting second because no matter what you think they lost by far their best player....BY FAR. secondly, with mcadoo gone and improvements already made across the OL, the giants wont be that bad....i expect them to be middle of the pack, especially if they hit on their first few picks. i dont have as grim an outlook as you do....i dont think many people should...we still have a good group of WRs, our OL seems improved, we are retooling the defense and could draft a stud RB at 2 to help eli and the offense. i dont think things are THAT bad
