There are way too many better backs available. He needs to be a 4th or 5th round pick. I liked Bo but he is a high-hipped guy and he is no Derrick Henry.
As a 5th round pick, sure. But I think we'll have gotten a RB by then and he just isn't good enough to warrant a third rounder.
4th is probably more accurate - we should be able to get him there. Not sure he'd still be there in the 5th.
There are several backs in this draft better than Bo, but if we decide to go in other directions in earlier rounds, he'd be a good consolation prize later on.
Will be there late in the fifth round this draft is loaded with backs he is going to be a situational guy. He had good numbers at the combine but he was in fact a serviceable fill in who always just could not claim the starting spot at Bama.
injury risks. Scarbough was often nicked up, and had to miss a lot of time.
Quite frankly, it's hard enough to find a player that you think is going to stay on the field in the NFL, and if they can't do it consistently in college, that's a major red flag.

Eh, he tore his ACL as a freshman but the only time he missed otherwise was when he broke his leg in the Championship game against Clemson.
He didn't miss any time last year and neither injury slowed him down.
I'm biased, but I'm a big fan of his. He runs a bit too upright but I thought Henry did too coming out.
Bo is like Brandon Jacobs lite. Very tough, physical runner - north south guy. Can play in the pass game as well.
If we don't draft Barkley (or another RB), I'd be totally fine using one of those 2 thirds to take him.

I don't know why more players of his body type don't try TE, btw. With this frame and stride, he looks like it could be do-able...

For RB's assuming guys like Guice, Chubb, Jones, Michel and Johnson are gone - I'd get Ballage.
But get the CB 1st if they are near value. If Apple fails, a corner is needed badly.
What are you talking about? It scares me.
