It is absolutely true. People take their little vacations to Paris and see the tourist attractions with no problem and never get exposed to what is really happening in that country. The parent company I work for is headquartered in Paris. I speak to people there all of the time and some of them are Americans who relocated. Based upon what they have shared with me, I am surprised this does not happen every week in France.
That makes it worse.
