A few draft Questions + rank some non-top rated players

Rory B. Bellows : 3/23/2018 9:17 am
…and just to talk about something different for once :)

Q:

-Based on practice time & the CBA, is it wise to try to get 2 OL guys from the same college team?
LT/LG or LG/C or C/RG or RG/RT
Just curious. Shout out any duo you may see as draft worthy

-Is Derwin James a SS or FS?

-WR2 – Eli Rogers?
He seems pretty solid to me & may come at a decent price. Was buried on PIT’s depth chart.
+We’d have the Eli market cornered

-Webb
Can you improve on him being able to make the second and third reads w/out telegraphing? (as stated in another thread)
Is that more correctable than Josh Allen’s inaccuracy?

-Who do you like if no QB, no Barkley/Chubb/Nelson?
“It’s a deep OL class”, why take 1 early?
“It’s a deep RB class”, why take 1 early? (I like RoJo, Sony, Penny, Auburn dude, and I'd take one in the 2nd round to get the one I want)

I really feel like we are going Defense with our first pick (wherever it may be lol)
-hopefully maximizing length of career and having a better chance of hitting on the first pick

Based on these reasons, I have my 4 guy list. These are guys I’d be really excited for:

-Who do you take/how would you rank?
(regardless of draft position)

Minkah
Derwin
Edmunds
Roquan

*You are forbidden to talk about the following:

-Trading up/down

-Darnold/Rosen/Allen*/Mayfield
(I like Darnold, but I wouldn’t touch the other 3 if I’m the Giants)
*You may discuss how Allen runs like Mose from The Office. That shit is hilarious!

-Chubb/Barkley/Nelson (I have no problem taking any of these guys)

-How awesome Eli is (Its not necessary, as we know he is, indeed, awesome. I’m serious)
Chubb may be in the discussion.....

but, I don't think he's a great fit in Bettcher's scheme and he'd be a risk, maybe even moreso then a QB, at #2. He's a perfect fit as a 4-3 DE, but maybe not so great in a 3-4 scheme. I just don't think the Giants would take the risk and try to shoe-horn him into a scheme that he may not fit. With that said however, I do think the Giants will go after an Edge Rusher, which they so desperately need now and there a few in this draft that could very well fit that bill in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. They may take a DE, but it'll be a guy that's better suited to be an End in a 3-4, a bigger guy perhaps.
