Hurns is fast? He ran a 4.55 at the combine, which is the average for an NFL WR. He's a modest upgrade over Terrance Williams, but he isn't a game-changer.
Westbrook, Lee, and Cole are all better WR's than he is - he was expendable.
This isn't a move that worries me at all.
