You have no idea the amount of times people with money and Fame get sued frivolously. You are a Giants fan, a big one if you are here, and the defendant is OBJ, so you are hearing about it. Regardless, he lives in a fishbowl and the media can't get enough of him.

dude, i watch the games, and the only sports media i consume is BBI. i'm not being naive. i see what i see. a super talented, game-changing type player who is often his own worst enemy. he's settled down a lot since the first couple of years of his career and i give him credit for that. he's still got a bit of a ways to go. i'm not the first or only to have made these observations. shit, others in the giants organization have made many of the same points.

You have no idea the amount of times people with money and Fame get sued frivolously. You are a Giants fan, a big one if you are here, and the defendant is OBJ, so you are hearing about it. Regardless, he lives in a fishbowl and the media can't get enough of him.

dude, i watch the games, and the only sports media i consume is BBI. i'm not being naive. i see what i see. a super talented, game-changing type player who is often his own worst enemy. he's settled down a lot since the first couple of years of his career and i give him credit for that. he's still got a bit of a ways to go. i'm not the first or only to have made these observations. shit, others in the giants organization have made many of the same points.
It's become a pattern and it's likely never going away. So the drama will always have to be managed...
I would trade the guy - less about these instances - because I don't think he's worth the money ask. I'd rather have a larger stable of solid, cheaper receivers - like Minnesota, New England, Saints, Philly, Green Bay, etc.
