I'd take one CB and one LB. Round 2 should be good value on an interior OL C/G prospect. Penny is a guy I like and I am hoping he will be available in round 3.
With Penny. It is a bit skill position heavy, and I don’t know much about Stewart, but there are some solid picks there. I particularly like the last two if they are available.
Sorry, hat is a non-starter for me. I think you still need at least one more G/C in the second or third rounds to further stabilize the line.
I think you'd be better off with the FA signed and developing the young guys that are already there. How much of an impact do you think a mid-round OL could come in and truly make?
Just wanted to know why no OLinemen, based on Gettleman's history of building the trenches? Who did you have Cleveland taking?
Just my personal philosophy that unless an OL is a 'difference maker', it'll be tough for me to take one super high. Plus, I also feel it's one of the few positions that a player could use some development before tossing him out there. Like, I'd feel more comfortable with the young guys taken last year as opposed to a mid-round type of pick this year

I think it's not unrealistic to think a Will Hernandez or James Daniels in the 2nd or 3rd could come in and start
love to get Darnold in the first, but I think he goes #1 to Cleveland. I could see them picking Rosen though.
Jackson in the 3rd round would be a great pick but I've seen numerous Mock drafts out there with him going in the late first round. Mayock has him listed as the second highest rated CB. Doubt he's there in the 3rd.
Turey has great potential due to his athletic ability but the guy never sees the field. He'll be living in the trainers room. We've drafted too many of these type players in the past.

I think it's a huge mistake / colossal blunder which we've seen Reese make over-and-over to believe the young guys you have on the roster will all be fine and pretend like you can develop them.
Can't take that risk with ELi or the next QB that comes to town. If this guy doesn't have an OLine selection in the top 3, throw his mock away unless the Giants will buy more FA's.
Future star in this league. DG building the trenches
