In fact this is the kind of testimony (for me personally) that means far more than stats or even other accolades.
And before anyone goes there this is not about Eli, Peyton, Brady, Rivers, Ben, Rodgers, Wilson or anyone else, it's about some comments Strief made about Brees in his retirement press conference I found to be a nice tribute to a good leader.

Agree, as both a leader and a human being. As a leader it's the kind of relationship and response I strive for in the people I lead, and as a person it's the kind of leader I hope to have. I don't care if it's cheesy, I think what Strief delivered was raw real emotion and I thought it was great.
