It was Saquon Barkley Day in his hometown of Coplay, PA...

Small PA town honors Saquon Barkley.

Barkley's busy schedule will take him next to Los Angeles for training and media obligations, and he's sure to meet with pro teams at some point and he will probably end up back in the Keystone State before taking off to Arlington, Tex., for the NFL Draft.

To pass on "Mister Electric". How in the world could we pass on him, if he fell into our laps ?

Does he kind of remind you of this guy ? ...

Is faster, but Barry was shiftier, never seen a guy move like him. He is the greatest back of all time. If Barkley is even close to as good as him I would draft him #2 in a heartbeat. The threat of a back like this takes so much pressure off of an offense. Let’s say hypothetically we draft this guy in round one, and shore up the right side of the line in round 2-3, how amazing would this offense be under Shurmur? I mean Barkley, Beckham, Shepherd, Engram, Marshall (maybe), can’t cover them all

Because we need a QB, there are 3 of them who will likely go in the top 5 of the draft and RBs (even great ones) have about a 5 year shelf life.

That's how.

There's a reasonable chance he will be sitting there with at 4 for the Browns.
He was asked about the Giants at this event...

Saquon Barkley already is thinking like a member of the Giants.

Like the first-year combination of general manager Dave Gettleman and coach Pat Shurmur, Barkley thinks 37-year-old two-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback Eli Manning still has another run in him.

"I think Eli Manning definitely has a lot in his tank left, and is an extraordinary player," the former Penn State star told PennLive.com, "and then Odell Beckham is the most exciting player in the NFL over the last three or four years, and obviously he's coming off an injury.

"Then, you have a great wide receivers corps, Sterling Shepard and the tight ends (Evan Engram) and all those guys. I think I would have the success I had in college."

Yea how far did Barry take Lions??? Actually Bo Jackson was bigger

Faster meaner then Sanders Ever was, and his career ended at 5 years
Drafting Barkley will help in short term some fans will be giddy short term yea giants will be much better for a few
Taking a QB good for long term fuck if Webb has anything then it’s a good situation
Another thing how many contracts u getting with Barkley? If u take him u better ride him into the ground done in 5 years. u resigning then again to a mega deal?
As everybody knows ton of good backs everywhere in draft
Watching him play

No fuckin way Browns do not take a qB @1
I sure hope so, Jeff ...
Manny in CA : 3/24/2018 10:12 pm : link

A guy like Barkley instantly makes ANY QB 50% better.

Barkley (at Penn State) & Sanders with the Lions both suffered from not having good offensive lines. If drafted him and built a top-five offensive line, in the next couple of years, there would be NO stopping the offense we could field.
Sanders was way better than Barkley coming out
TD : 3/24/2018 10:21 pm : link
Please stop with the Sanders comparison. It’s not fair to either player.

I like Barkley but he has just as good a shot of being Reggie Bush as he does of being an All Pro RB.
Of we miss on Darnold bc Browns take at 1....
VegasRich : 3/25/2018 12:01 pm : link
Then Id say there is no guarantee that Rosens concussions go away...no guarantee that Allens increases his 56% completions in 1800 attempts and figures this league out... With that said.. That puts a solid Mason Ruddolph or the kid from Richmond in play for a 2nd and pick or 3rd if he slips.... you guys with the can't draft a RB with the 2nd pick bc he isn't a 10-15 year franchise are idiots.... id take my chances on these 3-4 guys... Barkley as our RB, Rudolph QB, a OG/OT as one of 3rd RND and other as a LB/CB/DE type... over a Rosen/S. Michell/ OG /LB Scenario... my #1 pick impacts this team right now vs Rosen sitting til 3rd year as Eli has 2-3 years left....

I trade with Jets and thats it and take Barkley at 3 never giving Browns a shot at him... its that simple... he is a game changer and he immediately gives Odell and Co Single coverage...with Odell, Sheppard, Engra, and Barkley spread out is sick... Improve line thru the draft....S. Michell Chubb and Penny and a few tiers below Barkley... he clearly will be ROTY....

This is a very good comparison, certainly much better than Barry Sanders. I think Barkley has a bit more burst in the open field but they're both big backs who are great receivers and very patient runners.
