BBI is in it's myopic period before the draft. Not a knock on you Emil my old friend, but we want OGs and RBs in a bad bad way so we focus on them and assume teams are just going to steal them all before we pick. At least from where I sit it looks like that.

Sorry meant to say I don’t think he makes it out of the second.

He certainly is not going in the first. I was distracted by the little people who run my house, and my life.
My ideal for 4 picks are:
1st Darnold or Rosen
2nd Isaiah Wynn, Billy Price, Will Hernandez, James Daniels whoever is left in that order
3rd LT Brian O'Neill
3rd LB Nwosu
If they pick up a free agent at DE/DT or OLine or CB then the RB draft can move up.
-----------
Just like last year they needed OLine- right now they need the positions mentioned above. What you get from this point in FA can change your outlook.
----------------
Preferably this is how it will fall if no FA's picked up from this point:
Rd 1 QB
Rd 2 DE/DT or OLine (only draft 1 in 1st 4)
Rd 3 DE/DT or OLINE or CB (only draft 1 DE/DT or OLINE) or CB
RD 3b DE/DT or OLINE or CB (only draft 1 DE/DT or OLINE) or CB
One of my top sleepers but he had a very good post season and combine not sure he makes it out of the second round now. He is not Barkley but he does just about everything Barkley does on the field with great results. It’s a very strong RB class and for sure we could use a Penny type talent in the backfield.
The top tier seems to include Barkley, Guice, and R. Jones, with Barkley and Guice assured of going in Round 1 and Jones as borderline (may or may not be available to the Giants at #34 overall).
The second tier looks to be Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, Kerryon Johnson, and Rashaad Penny (in no particular order). All are projected to go somewhere in Round 2, but one of them could slip into the 3rd round.
There appears to be a significant drop off between those seven and the next tier of RBs, such that the Giants are best served waiting until Day Three before addressing RB if none of the seven are available in Round 3.
p.s.--When was the last time that seven RBs went in the first two rounds? Not that the answer to that question matters all that much. Every draft is its own species.
is about a 1000 times better than Barkley with the 2nd pick. There is a real chance Penny will be better than Barkley. There is a much better than a real chance that he is 85% of Barkley. I will take that value in the 3rd round any time over squandering a 2nd round pick on a RB.
Sorry meant to say I don’t think he makes it out of the second.

Also contains a stat about Barkley that should give pause to the notion of fitting him for the gold jacket just yet.

Not a punter but a Center Cole
RBs that can't catch or pass protect don't go in the first.
Or the second.

Fuck yeah. Someone else on the Michael Dickson train!
ER Landry
RB Penny
DB Cuikshank
I'd still prefer to take Darnold #2 if he's available.
