Would the Browns say no to the following

Before I post this, I do not want to trade OBJ but

Let's say this occurs. Put your John Dorsey hat on for a second.

DG calls up JD and tells him

We will give you the #2 and OBJ and nothing else for the 4th pick you own and we must swap 1st and 2nd pick.

Giants get to draft 1st and 4th and the Browns draft second and get OBJ

As a Giant fan would you even consider it and if you were a Browns GM, would you consider it.

Giants end up with Darnold and Barkley

Browns get the qb they are rumored to most covet Allen at #2 and OBJ as well as keep all their other picks.

Allen at QB
OBJ+Landry+Gordon+Duke is looking legit

Giants have in the future: Darnold, Barkley, Engram, Shepard with Nate Solder at LT

Probably. It all depends on who they covet at QB, though they would likely want to know who the Giants are taking at 1. If they like Darnold and that's who we want, they don't do it. If they don't care about Darnold and they want Allen, they go for it. Beckham > Barkey and they have money to spare to sign him. RBs are fairly easy to find and they offense would become dynamic overnight... assuming they have someone decent to throw to these guys.

Can't see it happening though because I wouldn't want to see the Giants basically trade Beckham for the 4 pick. Gotta get more than that, which is why I think the Browns would do it. It would be a good deal for them depending on what QB they want.

I like getting Darnold and Barkley. But they would have to throw in a 2nd or a next years 1st for me to make the deal.

I hate draft rumors guys, but I know for a fact that Dorsey is in heavy talks with Gettleman to get the #2 pick. He wants Darnold & Barkley. It would be for #4 and #33 with another choice on Day 3

They simply need more WR help & should address it in the draft, but if OBJ wants to act like he has a skirt on, I say let him hold out. After one more party, he'll be out of money & come into camp with his tail between his legs. Like Marshall, this dude's act is getting tiring. Out of work, out of money will change his philosophy real quick.
And here is where I might get fried - but with Eli as the QB, just how much better, or likely worse, can he be next year? You go in the tank & the next Brett Favre is sitting at Mississippi State - check him out & look at those running #s

Please stop...DG should be fired on the spot if he ever even considered such a dumb move. Trade out of #2 to #4 and only get a second rounder this year and third day pick? Yea good luck with that

But if you do this, you draft two out of Barkley, Chubb, and Nelson. Trading down is a much better option though. Eli has years left.

I don't think the Giants trade OBJ but I think it is possible!

I would rather stand pat at pick two in your trade scenario, counter offer with OBJ for pick number 4 and 33, take it or leave it Mr. Dorsey. If they take it they have to go QB at one and the Giants can come away with Barkley and Nelson at 2 and 4. Than during the break from day one to day two the Giants can consider all bids for pick 33 and 34, if someone offers a 2019 first round pick there is another deal to make. If not the Giants get two players top of round two and also round three.

For 1 second rounder and a later pick. It better be 2 seconds at minimum. At #4 they could still get Allen or Rosen or move back again.

but let's not forget how valuable the very first pick of the second round is .... NYG drafted up to use it on LC, as a recent example.
