We will use this as a discussion thread to keep the SELECTIONS thread uncluttered. These threads will be used for the duration of the entire draft.
Once a team is on the clock, they will have two hours to make a selection. If a team goes on the clock after 4pm, their two hour window will roll over to the next day. For example, if you go on the clock at 4:30pm, you will have until 9:30 am to make a selection. Picks may be made between 6pm and 9am if GMs are online and following the draft thread. The time limit only applies during the 9am to 6pm timeframe. If the two hour time limit expires, I will make a pick using any list that the GM for the team has sent me in advance (send lists to the email address in my profile) or in the absence of a list, I will use the GBN Big Board with a little discretion so as not make an obvious dumb pick (i.e.: Philadelphia Eagles won’t be taking a QB in the 1st round this year). If a GM misses two consecutive picks without providing a prospect list or making some form of contact with me (email or posting on the draft thread) the spot will be reassigned to one of the BBIers who have expressed an interest to fill the vacancy.
Please utilize the
BBI Mock Draft Spreadsheet . The spreadsheet contains the draft order (RD1-6) by team and GM with a fairly comprehensive list of both available and taken prospects based on the GBN Big Board (as well as several other prospects that did not make the GBN Big Board). I will try to keep the spreadsheet and thread updated as often as possible.
Probably adding his UDFA selections to his pick announcement
No problem, there is still plenty of excess tissue remaining on Orlando Brown after creating a new hand a new knee
So you are saying he has reached for UDFA in the middle rounds... Come on Andy you need to draft better!
Hahaha

I am here...choosing between my SIX players! Don't worry...my UDFA's will be in a separate post! But you better be quick, LOL.

Sounds about right to me.
"um...nothing."
He was already selected. Daniel Carlson is BPA on list followed by Riley Ferguson if no K
And cheers to everybody for another fun year!
Sam Darnold, QB USC
Orlando Brown, OT Oklahoma
Shaquem Griffin, OLB/Edge Central Florida
Kerryon Johnson, RB Auburn
Marcel Ateman, WR Oklahoma State
Nick Nelson, CB Wisconsin
Greg Stroman, CB Virginia Tech
Roc Thomas, RB Jacksonville State
Grady O'Connell OT/OG Washington State
Thank you, Matt and everyone for helping to make this another fun mock draft. Everyone except dk in TX. You can suck it.
He was in my top 3 since round 5, I almost drafted him 3 times.
Now, to talk about my UDFA
Logan Woodside/QB/Toledo
Needed some QB depth and he was my BPA at the position
Trenton Cannon/RB-RS/Virginia State
Extremely productive as a runner, receiver, and return specialist at lower level. Pro Day numbers were insane. Hopefully he can be my Tarik Cohen
Darrel Williams/RB/LSU
With his ranking by Sy I thought someone would draft him. Gets high marks for work ethic and dedication on Special Teams
Greg Senat/OT/Wagner
Developmental OT
Grant Haley/CB/Penn State
Small, but feisty nickel CB. Nice workout numbers
Rd 1. Josh Jackson, CB, Iowa
Rd 2. Frank Ragnow, C, Arkansas
Rd 3. Josh Sweat, DE, Florida State
Rd 5. Deadrin Senat, DT, South Florida
Rd 6. Cedrick Wilson, WR, Boise State
Rd 6. Auden Tate, WR, Florida State
Rd 6. Chase Edmonds, RB, Fordham
UDFAs
Darious Williams, CB, UAB
Nic Shimonek, QB, Texas Tech
Taron Johnson, CB, Weber State
Khalid Hill, FB/TE, Michigan
Christian Sam, ILB, Arizona State
I kind of screwed up my last pick and UDFAs, though. I definitely wanted Darious Williams and Shimonek, but I don't think Edmonds was a great pick for this team. I hurried it though because I saw the comments I was taking too long. I didn't know you guys were just waiting there with bated breath! You guys are competitive!
Only changes I would've made is to probably draft Darious Williams and then swap his spot on the UDFAs for Ryan Nall. I think I'd rather have a big back that can be a hammer rather than a quick, small one like Edmonds.
Then I'm not sure I would've taken Taron Johnson as a UDFA as I already drafted Jackson and then would've added Darious Williams to bookend my draft with corners. It's too many DBs and I like to acquire guys with a reasonable chance to make my team.
I would've done a little more research on the linebackers as well, because I'm not sure on Christian Sam. Might've gone with Chris Worley from Ohio State instead.
All in all, I really like my draft for Minnesota. I think I at least added two STRONG starters to my team, one on offense and one on defense with the first two picks, and got some upside with the rest of the draft and guys that have a good chance to contribute. I loved getting Cedrick Wilson in the 6th, because I think he is going to be a good NFL player. I was surprised at how low he was ranked on the list and that he was still available so late in the draft.
Jester Weah, WR - Pittsburgh: Fast (4.43), lanky (6'3" 210), vertical receiver with big hands. Lacks quick twitch but could be a deep/red zone threat in the league. Devalued because of poor QB play.
Tony Adams, G - NC State: Compact frame, good agility/footwork and quickness, lacks length but should be at least a rotational player down the road.
Damon Webb, S - Ohio State: SY's #5 rated safety- "Fourth year senior that has started games at CB and S. The instincts are what jump off the screen here and it is arguably the most important trait I look for in a free safety. Webb has consistently shown the knack to anticipate throws and routes with the best of them. If I had to rank these safeties based on feel, Webb would be at the top. He lacks some of the desired tools, mainly size, but in a system where a true centerfielder is needed, he is a prized asset."
The dude just makes plays. He lacks the physical tools but is a great football player who will find a spot for himself on our squad.
Tremon Smith, CB - Central Arkansas 6'0" 190, ballhawk. Aggressive corner, slightly built but fast (4.32 pro day) and athletic. Played at a lower competition level but has the traits of a shutdown NFL corner. Can play slot or outside.
2 - Hayden Hurst, TE
3 - Kemoko Turay, Edge
3 - MJ Stewart, CB
4 - DaeSean Hamilton, WR
4 - Joseph Noteboom, OT
5 - Derrick NNadi, DT
5 - Martez Carter, RB
5 - Dane Cruikshank, S
6 - Charvarius Ward, CB
QB Kyle Allen, Houston
Almost drafted him in the 5th and 6th rounds but rolled the dice. Highly rated HS QB who was really drawing some interest from teams late in the draft process
FB Dimitri Flowers, Oklahoma
Thumper who can help in the run game with or without the ball in his hands
LB Mike McCray, Michigan
Physical middle LB, great inside 34 fit
DE Zach Seiler, Ferris State
One of the top D2 guys in the draft
WR Darren Carrington, Oregon
Raw talent, immature but not a bad guy

That's a very good draft. Love the Nnadi and Noteboom picks...great value. I'm not a Dasean Hamilton guy, but it is a 4th round pick, afterall.
This is always a fun mock draft .
We will see in 3 or 4 years how the Cowboys draft worked out.
Missed you yesterday. Was wondering who you would have picked up as UDFAs.
Thanks again for helping make this possible.
