If Eric or Sy shoot me dead for this, I apologize in advance. I took his rankings thus far and made an overall list, see linky below. It's in Excel so it will start you on the Overall tab but you can look at OT, RB, WR and TE individually using the tabs at the bottom (they are not readily visible). If those dudes are OK with it, I will add to it and reshuffle as the rankings keep coming.
**I sorted by Overall grade first then position rank for some clarity where the grades are even.
**The "All Prospects" is hyperlinked to the BBI Draft section and the Position Names on each tab will take you to the write up on BBI with the in depth analysis from Sy'56. Since it's in Excel you have to hold CTRL as you click to open the linked page.
And a huge thanks again to Sy'56 for these, they are like football crack for me.
Overall Rankings - (
New Window )
Creating tiers was my goal ....
are the heights and weights correct? They seem a little off? The spreadsheet lists Ronald Jones, running back, at 6'5" and 305 lbs. Even Brandon Jacobs would go Damn! if that kid is that big and a RB.
would it be terribly difficult to add an overall # column so we could see who would land on or around our various draft picks based on Sy's rankings?
no worries if not. thanks again!

He has been eating a lot? Thanks I will take a closer look.

sure no problem.
Assuming you'll complete it along with Sy's updates. You've got a ready-made big board.
Really appreciate you assembling Sy's data this way. Pretty cool stuff.

It really will. I will probably have it up during the draft just to see how it aligns.
Great stuff Joey!
....These grades are a guide. Things can subtly change over the next 3 weeks as this is the time of year I usually get more in depth information on medicals and off field stuff.
good stuff -- boy, Barkley's Sy ranking is like it's own Mount Olympus when you look at it against the others so far
My grades are my own projections, not where I think they will be drafted

I like it far better to see where a guy is ranked and then see where he's taken. So far if memory serves your track record on what you would have done far exceeded the Giants in recent seasons.
It's a go to important reference. Thank you.

That's a low bar to clear...
now I know your real name!
I mean if someone wants to come kill me, meh.
**Update - Ronald Jones has slimmed down from the erroneous 309 lbs to his correct weight.
**Update - I added overall ranking

Wouldn't just looking at row number accomplish that?
Very much appreciated.
I assume you plan on adding the other positions as the Sy's reviews come in.
I think this should be "sticky'd".
I didn't see Nelson on the list though.
I didn't realize there is more to come.
This will be great on draft night.
Maybe add a tab with Sy's definitions of the ratings? I always forget what they equate to. I saw this on the stickied Sy rankings thread so I think these are correct.
90+ Elite, All Pro, Franchise players
85+ Pro Bowlers, long time starters, among the best at their position eventually
80+ First round caliber talent, long time starters
75+ Day 2 prospects, starters/solid rotational contributors
72+ Rounds 4-5
67+ Rounds 6-7
65+ Priority UDFA
Can this be printed so I can make copies to give out at my draft party... I tried and it only printed one page

You can save the file locally I think but I can create a PDF from the final version and link that as well it will print easier that way.
the transition from green to yellow in the Grade column is a nice touch. Was it intended as green means go, yellow caution, and red throw the f'n remote?
second, am I missing something? And Sy ranks no Qb's at all?

He hasn't done all positions yet. This is just the positions he's done so far.
Hello Members,
This is why I appreciate BBI and folks like you, Sy, Dave_TE.
Kudos to intelligent and caring contributors.

Michel is the RB I hope they can land, though going OL would be the bigger need pick in the 2nd.
But thanks for doing this, with all the talk about the QB's and Barkey/Chubb/Nelson I don't know much about the available WR's and secondary players.
Added OG-C Rankings
Re-sorted Overall to include OG-C
Added Grade Key
I also really like the color coding in the Grade column.

merciless, geez.
** Added DL
** Added Edge Rushers
** Resorted Overall
I'm open to feedback on the Grade column and it's conditional formatting. I went with data bars and the basic stoplight coloring of Green to yellow to red but I don't love it. Any suggestions are welcome, except ones where I am told to : take a flying leap, go f myself, long walk off a short pier, get bent, eat sh-t, drop dead.

+1, or at least sticky it after all grades are posted and definitely around drift day.
It is great of you to do this so you have my hearty thanks and appreciation. I will definitely be printing this out by the time the draft starts.
About Sy's page of lists. I will post updates there from here on out.
