Does a piece on a wide receiver regarded as one of the best in the league need to be written? With the recent buzz of trade rumors regarding this high profile athlete, Twitter and the media in general have exploded with remarks on his worth as a locker room guy (we as outsiders have very little clue) to general manager Dave Gettleman’s thought process (which is impossible to really know). Film study can provide concrete historical evidence for what has happened, leading potential extrapolations for what may happen in the future. Immediately many will cry “man lands on moon!”, but this piece promises to not just show Odell Beckham’s prowess as a Pro Bowl wide receiver. Everyone knows that he is really, really good. |
You need all that to disprove those who think he's not any good?

It's a good football article - something this forum could use some more of, IMO.
Not sure why the contentious response. Did you even read the article at all?

It contributes a lot more actual material than this empty post.

What was the point of saying "in defense of OBJ?" What is there to defend? He is great. Did you even read my 2-3 sentence post?

I did - it was just as worthless as this one.
If you haven't noticed, there's a pretty large contingent of fans that want to get rid of this guy.
Not sure why you're getting so hung up on the thread title. Not that important.
It's a good football article. Read it, you might learn something.
HFS!!! Are you really equating Beckham to Hitler...
This board has gone nuts.

As a person. Not fit to be a Giant. Look, it is a polarizing issue. Everyone who wants Beckham traded is an admirer of Winston Churchill. Those who want him to stay are admirers of Neville Chamberlain. That sums it up. To a fucking tee.

"Even though our Quarterback is old and our offensive line is a sieve, we shall not flag or fail. We shall play hard in all 16 games until the end of the season. We shall play hard in New Jersey, we shall play hard in Dallas, we shall play hard in Washington and Philadelphia - okay, maybe not in Philadelphia. We shall play hard with growing confidence and growing strength. We shall defend our end zone whatever the cost may be. We shall play hard on our own twenty-yard line, we shall play hard at mid-field, we shall play hard in the red zone. We shall never surrender!"
Well done
Well done
Thanks. Sometimes these things just write themselves.
