""The Mets found Brandon Nimmo playing time, but not the kind he wants.
The 25-year-old outfielder, who has hit well but was squeezed out of the lineup since Michael Conforto’s return, is going to Triple-A Las Vegas as the team calls up right-hander Corey Oswalt, the Mets announced Tuesday.
Nimmo is 3-for-9 with a .600 OBP in six games this season, the 2011 first-round pick finally showing signs of emerging. Nimmo has been reduced to pinch-hitting duties, though, with Conforto activated last week. The Mets have Juan Lagares as a fourth outfielder, who has been entering games late as a defensive presence."
Unbelievable.
They could use the DH spot in the worse way. - (

Options are by year, not number of times you were sent down
An option year is when you are on the forty man roster but not the 25. Every player has three option years. After that, you have to clear waivers
