You don't move an MVP/59 HR guy down in the order just because he's having a rough start. It's a 162 game season. You wait just a bit and let him hit his way out of the slump.
Red Sox did get some seeing eye basehits and as good a hitting team as there are it doesn't take much to get runs.

Stanton and Sanchez are KILLING 'em right now. Just KILLING 'EM. Gonna have to move Stanton down in the order.

Seriously, no chance you do that. He’s off to a bad start, you don’t compound it by fucking with his head and unleashing the NY media on Boone for the decision to boot

So of course, Stanton immediately shuts me up with a single to right. I'll go sit in the corner now.
Hopefully the kind of hit that gets him going, smoked a single to RF

And I'm usually the guy telling everybody else to be patient.....lol.
After Sale they have who? They are a great hitting team. It hasn't been their pitchers winning games, they've been coming back and winning late.

Thats why Boston will take the division again unfortunately. Yanks dominate hitters lol. Smh.

Just David Price and some guy that won the Cy Young two years ago.
Effin moron is more worried about the runner on second then walks two in a row.
I don't think the Red Sox pampered their players in spring training worring about October.
Kahnle is almost useless. Guy has no clue where his pitches are going. And, another reason to hate him, he’s a fucking Eagle fan.
Ain't nobody throwing the ball well right now.
They are getting spanked. They aren't prepared. This isn't a matter of a few guys slumping.
Unilaterally from one's basement.

with another dud. He was barking at the Red Sox on his way off the mound.

This game should have been mopped up by Germain, Warren and/or Shreve. If Boone can't see that then Cashman better have a talk with him.
Also to refresh your short memories we probably wouldn't have made it past the wild card game without Kahnle and we certainly wouldn't have gotten to game 7 of the ALCS. He and Robertson saved our season last year. This year he and Robertson are being abused.
Boone is in over his head. He has zero feel for th game.

It's obviously too early to really confirm this but both he and kapler sure are making it easy to pile on. It is up to the players to change the narrative.
Didi is "more patient" at the plate. Either this or he isn't getting as many good pitches to hit.
Austin and Romine are both hungry to stay and playing better than expected. Neither is a major contributor on a winning team however.
Andujar needs work on offspeed pitches and we need Drury to get back in the lineup. I think a few months and he hits his way back.
Walker fits the solid but not spectacular mold. I'm hoping Torres continues to hit like he wants to force Walker to battle with Toe for the supersub role.
Robinson is not the long-term replacement for Ellsbury.
I would consider flipping Judge and Stanton in the lineup since Judge appears to have picked it up. I'm not worried about Gary, but it may be time to move him down a spot to 6 until he picks it up. The problem there is it's not like Neil Walker or anyone else is worth a damn at the moment either.
Positives: Judge 3 for 3 with a bomb HR. Stanton 2 hits with a double.
Yanks got several hittable pitches and got their share of hits, just couldn’t string them together. And Sale doesn’t make it worse by walking people like Sevy and then Kahnle did last night.
Oh well, hammer Price today and we all feel better

exactly. It's only April 11, and they are 5-6 not 1-10. They can still win this series.
