Both the Giants and Jets are in prime position to choose one of the top quarterbacks in the 2018 NFL Draft, picking No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, but one NFL offensive coordinator believes that there is a clear top prospect between Josh Allen, Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, and Baker Mayfield.

"It's Sam Darnold," an NFL offensive coordinator told NJ Advance Media, when asked who he believes is the top quarterback in this year's class.

There were two traits that set Darnold above the likes of Rosen, Allen, and Mayfield as the premier passer in this class, according to the offensive coordinator.

"It comes down to his ability to extend plays," he said. "And his arm talent."

I'm not sure what he means by arm talent. I thought Rosen had the arm better arm and Allen the stronger arm.

questions about Rosen's ability to throw on the move. At this point I am warming to the idea that Darnold is the guy. The question will be is Cleveland taking him. If so, what happens after that.

I think when he says arm talent, he’s not refering

To arm strength. He does have a knack for some spectacular throws, with great anticipation.
And I'm sure another likes Rosen

and another likes Allen and another likes the other dude.
One more anonymous opinion?

Sweet!
Allen definitely has the better arm,

but I think Darnold's is slightly stronger than Rosen's. Both are plenty strong enough to make all of the throws, so I don't see the difference as making a material difference.

Darnold's a little more athletic, and throws better on the move, while Rosen is more NFL-ready, and a aperfect target if you are looking for a pure pocket passer. I don't think there is that much daylight between Darnold and Rosen (on the field, not taking injuries into account).
Rosen demonstrates

text book throwing mechanics and throws probably the best ball of all the QBs in this year's draft. IMO, what he talking about with Darnold is his ability to throw with strength and accuracy from many body positions and while on the move.

My thought too. Useless comment if we don’t know who said. Could have been Donald Duck.
