I am asking this because it seems like we have met with a high number of running backs projected to go in all rounds. Would this hint that maybe Barkley will not be the pick? Yes, we have looked at a lot of QBs. I just think that is part of the job.
So, why are we looking at so many RBs? Is there a chance we take 2? I think that is possible but probably unlikely due to our many needs. Does it hint at a possible trade down?
I'm just curious to what you guys think?
There is a limit on players you can bring to your facility. I don't know if there is a limit at the combine but time restricts how many kids you can meet with.

Looking at a lot of RBs could the result of the need, which certainly doesn’t hurt Barkley’s chances any. Or it could be coincidence and a lot of players st the position require vetting. Or a mixture of both.
Don’t read too much into it. There are no clues to be found here.
That not withstanding, I'm intrigued that a surprising percentage of RB's they've been reported to have met with look like late round or UDFA prospects. Suggests to me that they're interested in getting in some RB's they can look at in camp without having to spend much in the way of a draft pick. There's going to be RB talent in this draft that doesn't get drafted, and if they can get a guy in camp like Chase Edmonds or Philip Lindsay, both of whom they've met with, without spending a pick, they could wind up with a cheap get.
