Dane Bugler NFLDraftScout predicts all 256 draft picks

YANKEE28 : 4/12/2018 4:44 pm
Interesting read. He incorporates his live game, film review, team draft needs, and Top 30 team interviews to draw his conclusions.

While I would rather have Darnold at 2
Jay on the Island : 4/12/2018 4:53 pm : link
Coming away with this would be phenomenal
QB Rosen
G/C Billy Price
LB Uchenna Nwosu
LB Darius Leonard
RB Mark Walton
S Jordan Whitehead

The first four picks are outstanding
If thats the way the draft fell, we could trade with Buffalo
PatersonPlank : 4/12/2018 5:08 pm : link
and walk away with Mincah Fitzpatrick and either Hernandez or McGlinchey in the first round. That would be great.
Fitz and Vea then O all the way down.

.
That would be a really nice draft...

Mark Walton has skills for a RB.
Looks like something
Reb8thVA : 4/12/2018 5:16 pm : link
he did on the Fanspeak Simulator.
Have a lot of respect for the guy

For even attempting something like that.
Interesting that he has
YANKEE28 : 4/12/2018 5:24 pm : link
FS Jordan Whitehead to the Giants. Yes he is a cousin of Darrelle Revis, but the Giants would need to know much more about why he was suspended for the first 3 games this season.

I know it was a group of about 6 players that got in trouble last summer at Pitt, but the Giants don't need any more DB's with issues.

On the field, Whitehead certainly has some great skills.

I’ve done my own Giants mock that has had the same first 4 picks. That would be a good draft.

Sure does. I just watched a YouTube video of him. All he's missing is elite speed. 4.6 40 is not too great.
Fitzpatrick to the Skins at 13
Chris684 : 4/12/2018 5:30 pm : link
Would blow. Hopefully that doesn’t happen.
If he even got the first 10 picks right
Hades07 : 4/12/2018 5:31 pm : link
I'll be impressed. Odds are he's missed something by the 4th pick if not sooner.

The giants picks
Like the first 2 picks
ZogZerg : 4/12/2018 5:35 pm : link
Don't know anything about the other picks.
I'd take that draft and I think it's pretty realistic
Eric on Li : 4/12/2018 5:39 pm : link
I don't love the USC LB, I'd probably prefer a DB with that pick but the rest are good. Walton is going to be a solid pro. Can do a little of everything, runs hard, good vision, hard worker, great hands.
Guess I'm in the minority
lugnut : 4/12/2018 6:16 pm : link
I would hate that Draft. No to the oft-injured Rosen. Back-to-back LBs? Did anyone notice we already revamped our LBs? And a 5th-round RB? Jesus Christ, we've done that!

If you’re going to play a 3-4, you need a lot of LBs. Those two could start with Vernon and Ogeltree.
I didn't like it either.
Red Dog : 4/12/2018 7:09 pm : link
I wouldn't touch Rosen with the twenty foot pole that I have for touching things that I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. Five years from now he will be out of the league.

Also want a top rated RB or don't bother. They've got a roster full of third day guys now.

The more I hear about Billy Price and others, the more I think there are better values to be had both then and later for both G and C.

Draft only one LB. They already have their starters inside (Goodson & Ogletree) and out (Martin & Vernon), plus some depth in Munson and maybe Armstrong and/or somebody else already on the roster, so anybody drafted this year is depth at this point. Pick up more depth in free agency.

What's missing here is a top punter, another real need to fill. They've signed all those gunners and have long snappers but they need a good leg and there are some good ones available this year.
Agree with his first six picks
Vanzetti : 4/12/2018 7:10 pm : link
Though I could see Cleveland taking Barkeley at 4, with Chubb going 6 to Indy.

But first thee picks will definitely be QBs
Billy Price
Bill in UT : 4/12/2018 7:46 pm : link
has a torn pec. When will he be ready to play? With the Flowers situation, do we pass on Orlando Brown in the 3rd to take 2 LBs?
That's about as close to a perfect draft
AcesUp : 4/12/2018 7:57 pm : link
He basically hits a name on my shortlist in every round. Love the idea of cluster drafting LB in the 3rd.

Bill - Price has a partial tear in his pec. He shouldn't miss any training camp but he may be dealing with some atrophy issues. Not major enough to seriously affect his draft position.
Not jazzed
Reb8thVA : 4/12/2018 7:59 pm : link
About that draft either. Don’t want a QB and I’m curious how you would use Leonard and Nwosu. I guess you can drop OV down to the line
