Everything I read that he is. Even DG made mention when they signed him - he was impressed how covers tight ends.
Isn't this just as crucial as getting another OLinemen? I'd take the OL first -- but right after the 2nd rd, we should be hoping a DL falls or at worst trade down in rd 3 if value is bad for early pick.
Here are my top 3 but not neccessarily in 3rd round. Though round 5 pick is just a bench player.
Tim Settle 1st of our picks in Rd 3.
BJ Hill 4th round? Or maybe 2nd pick of 3rd round?
Folorunso Fatukasi - 5th round.
This.
Close thread.
I've seen mocks having Giants going after linebackers. Or an early rd selection LB yet not going after a DL.
Also when discussions come up as to getting a fa in the past several people would say someone such as HAnkins for example -- wouldn't start. I realize Hankins is too expensive.
Heck- even "ourlads" called Martin a DE.

I hope all this doesn't mean that they draft Chubb. If they do they better not go with a 3-4.
Then figure out who is backing up whom.
Yes, but he'll get stiff competition from Bernard Holsey.
Then figure out who is backing up whom.
Why?
If you hear a player is more suited for a 3-4 vs a 4-3 - wouldn't you want to draft - if available- to a player's strengths?
they really do need to add a full time pass rushing 3-4 DE to make that work thou they have snacks who can be the NT and tomlinson to be the DT and martin is the other 4-3 DE when they go 4-3 but they dont have the 3-4 DE on the other side and JPP was let go because he didnt suit that role (and was costing too much cap space)
2x OLB/DL blend players
And
2x ILB/S blend players
(3x varied DTs)
( 2 corners and 2 safeties)
Opposing 3 or 4 wrs you can -1 DT and -1 Lb of either type depending on other factors to ++ up to 2 additional cover corners

JFC, the 5-0-6 crap again?
Just because you've decided to start referring to OLBs as DEs and ILBs as safeties doesn't make your ridiculous 5-0-6 assertion valid, it's just contrarian nomenclature.
