is talking about Rubio having a good game which led to their success. Do people really think he cares if Rubio plays like shit if OKC lost?
Very weird narrative.
Yes he does care. RW cares about 1 thing. Russ’s stats. Once George leaves and he is surrounded by less than stellar players... he can get all the stats he wants, give all the snarls in the world, and never be a factor in the playoffs.
Say what you want about Durant, but he gave up personal stats for a title. I can’t see Westbrook doing the same.
goes out there caring about his stats, I think his ego distorts his view of how much of a positive impact he's actually making and never ceases to stop shooting bone-headed 3 pointers or tries to think the game at a high level. Once you prevent westbrook from getting to the rim every play, OKC becomes pretty easy to beat. Westbrook only looks for easy assists or pulls up for mid-range/long 3s. And it's pretty obvious you can't win many games in April with Westbrook as your primary ball-handler.
I won't bother arguing, you seem convinced no matter what happens.
Coming out to the press vocally about making sure someone doesn’t get stats and playing like a complete buffoon last night backs my case up.
Russell is was and always will be about Russell. Durant saw it and left.
I think George will leave OKC too rather than play with Westbrook long term. He seems like a tough guy to play with. Oladipo really took his game to another level this year also after getting away from Westbrook.
to any actual Rubio statistics? I only read that he would "shut that shit down" or something, which I interpreted to mean, "I'm going to prevent him from having that kind of impact on the next game."
I mean, it's pretty baselessly cynical to just say that all he cares about is holding someone below a certain statistical accomplishment that would make the defender look bad.
wrapped. Milwaukee’s offense is atrocious, just get a feeling like every half court possession has a bunch of wasted dribbles and will result in chucking a long 2. Despite how the team looks there is a gold mine of talent, should have their picking of a HC.
than tonight. Finish off the Thunder and watch the circus begin.
Cavs/Pacers series actually has been really good. Anyone else find it odd when the Cavs lose its because Lebron doesnt have enough but when Kyle Korver hit two huge threes in the last game to prevent them from going down 3-1, its barely mentioned in the media?
next year, Boston will field a lineup with 5 guys that will receive all star consideration, 3 of which have made All NBA teams. Oh and with Rozier and Morris coming off the bench.

And if he loses to Philly, Boston will have to beat Simmons, Embiid, and Lebron.
Are more likely to be on different teams then the same ones next year. Lillard could also be on there as well, he met with management already before this season.
Ripple effects if Lebron would probably lead to a K-love trade too.
Kemba and Bledsoe also look like trade candidates heading into next year.
Cousins could be picked up by some other team on the relatively cheap
Ball was NOT of Lebron.
Lebron goaltended Oladipo's layup.
Expect Lebron to win this at the buzzer.
The goaltend was obvious at slow speed, but at regular speed that looked very close to 50/50, not an easy call. You think a 50/50 call isn't going LeBron's way, at the end of a playoff game, at home? It's not like he plays for the Warriors or something.

Refs get paid big bucks to get them right. Plus the ball wasn’t off Lebron earlier. Two pretty big calls. Still can’t ftho what McMillan was doing defensively at the end of the game.
Pacers had a foul to give too. They really blew that.
17 turnovers, Oladipo with a terrible game, and they were still right there. Doesn’t speak well to the Cavs chances in the later rounds. But that was a pretty great ending. Just got to appreciate something like that
This Cavs team is pretty bad - it's just LeBron being LeBron. Without him I don't think that team even sniffs the playoffs. The roster around him is garbage.
which could be flipped into something useful. But for now, the Kyrie trade could not have worked out worse for them. There is no reliable second scoring option. Kyle Korver is their #2 guy right now.

I mean any Cavs team ever you can say that about. Even with Kyrie, when Lebron hasn't played Cleveland has a like a .200 record.

Isaiah Thomas was always extremely overrated. People foaming at the mouth at him from last year are now looking extremely foolished.
25-4 run with taj in the game to start the half.
Thibs should be fired in twolves want to get better.
Ingles gets in the face of george...
Brown shoves George to try and get him to react

Who the hell is going to want to play with him? The answer is simple. No one.
Josh Richardson might miss tonight, if so, Miami is probably finished tonight.

I hate the god damn media.

I would say
Lebron
George
Wall
Kawhi
Deandre Jordan

I thought it was a forgone conclusion he was gonna get $15M a year and a starter role from thibs.

Derrick Rose will be a FA too :)
