hoping they don't take barkley. think he's very overrated. my hope is they trade back to 5 or 12 and manage to snag nelson. i prefer a north/south between the tackles type RB. either that or take mayfield at 2, i think he'll be the best of the bunch if he can get the douche factor under control (questionable).
"He’s often too quick to look for the home run when a three or four-yard gain is there to be had, and this may lead to a bit too much dependence on his offensive line at the next level."
I have no idea who were going to draft but to suggest he camt be a consistent runner in the NFL because he got caught a couple times looking for a big play is asinine.
PFF grades each player on a pure snap basis. They don't take into account context like other players on the team, scheme, competition and they certainly don't even attempt to at all project how a player can develop and evolve. Hell, Carson Wentz was their 14th best prospect two years ago and they graded Buckner higher than Jalen Ramsey. It's just silly to make the assumption that the way a player played in his last year of college will be the player he'll be throughout his career.
Even PFF's NFL game grades while not perfect do a better job of telling some of the story than their draft grades.
the only positives I've read about Lamar Jackson. Funny how you watch this kid play so many games at such a high level and no one thinks he can play. I guess we will all see sooner enough.

I have to agree , I hope they are taking a closer look at him for a possible trade down because he would be the ideal candidate to learn from Shurmur and study for a year or two. Perhaps he has the same potential as Deshaun Watson and we can acquire more depth with the extra picks.
but I do appreciate their statistical work

You can't predict success in the NFL using analytics. It's not a 1 v 1 situation like in baseball with a pitcher v. a batter.
The scam they run is actually amazing in how they have people eating out of their hands.

Didn't Cleveland go 1-27 and stuck with Hue Jackson with their analytics wiz kid GM. LMFAO!
Personally, I think it's worthless trash.

The data is useless though.
