Mets Lineup
Brandon Nimmo (L) RF
Asdrubal Cabrera (S) 2B
Michael Conforto (L) LF
Todd Frazier (R) 3B
Adrian Gonzalez (L) 1B
Juan Lagares (R) CF
Jose Lobaton (S) C
Jacob deGrom (L) P
Amed Rosario (R) SS
More injuries. Bruce out with Plantar Fasciitis. DeGrom is going to be on point today with Ces also our. LGM! Set the tone!
And he can't hit...the guy failed to reach the Mendoza line in 2 of the last 3 seasons, with a stellar .232 BA sandwiched inbetween, with little power.
How is this guy playing in the Majors? Ryan Hanigan would be better...as would Miguel Montero.
I can't believe I'm this anxious to see Kevin Plawecki back in the lineup.
Timeline is 6-8 months but they wouldn’t push it. TDA is definitely done for the year. I don’t subscribe to him being done as a Met however. He’ll be back next year.
2. Howie Kendrick (R) 2B
3. Bryce Harper (L) RF
4. Ryan Zimmerman (R) 1B
5. Matt Wieters (S) C
6. Matt Adams (L) LF
7. Wilmer Difo (S) 3B
8. Jeremy Hellickson (R) P
9. Michael A. Taylor (R) CF
Todd Frazier is the fucking man.
He does, doesn't he?
Now that you mention that it does sound familiar.
According to Rosenthal, the team made “repeated inquiries” during the offseason for the catcher and Starlin Castro. However, they were told by the Marlins that they no longer needed to shed salary by that point.
Realmuto doesn't make any money. They have no reason to trade him unless it's for the type of prospect package the Mets don't have to offer.

If the Mets are planning on revisiting trade talks as Rosenthal mentions, I doubt its because they feel they dont have a prospect package to acquire him.

Plenty of teams have better farms to pick from. What's important is what the Marlins think of the Mets prospects. Realmuto is pretty valuable.
