It's good that we're getting on them early like this - eventually Babe Murphy will be back which will change their lineup quite a bit.

But these all count - and the bigger hole we can put them in now, the better.

I know Murphy is out and Rendon is out a couple days. Cespedes and Bruce are out tonight and we lost both our catchers. The Nats with Sherzer, Strasburg, and Harper should still be plenty good.

Murphy and Rendon are big voids in that lineup - it's a totally different team without those guys.

We say the same when we're even just without Cespedes for extended times.

But I'm sure as hell not complaining- they got to feast on us when we were absolutely getting ravaged. So, the more we kick the crap out of them the better.

nice managing by the Mets and a terrific performance by deGrom.

The Nat's look dead in the water. There are some really questionable calls, like holding the runner at first in a 3-2 count with 2 outs, but mainly the defense does not look ready.

It's early, but all these games count and the Mets are a fun team to watch!

Didnt we sweep them when he was in the lineup last week? Shouldnt Bruce just be out a few days? Murphy is big but again we are down Cespedes tonight.

I just dont want to minimize what we are doing right now. It's impressive and the Nats are still good.
