No I'd hope it would be:

1. CLE
2. BUF
3. NYJ
4. NYG
12. CLE

with CLE getting additional picks from BUF, perhaps next year's 1st.

Browns get 2 (Allen) and 12
Giants get 4 and 21
Bills get 1 (Darnold)

Only way it makes sense is if future picks and/or players are thrown to the Browns. Otherwise why would anyone go from 1 and 4 to 2 and 12?

hate to appear to endorse craziness, but that could actually work for every team, although as someone said, we do need to know the other picks. OTOH, when was the last three team trade in the NFL? This isn't the NBA.

And that could make sense. Everybody knows the Jets will pick a QB, so it doesn't matter whether that's Mayfield or Rosen. The Giants still get their choice of the first non-QB, plus an extra first round pick. If they're not interested in a QB, then they absolutely should do that deal. And since the Jets will likely pick Mayfield, the Giants could still take Rosen at #4.

I don't think that's enough for the Giants to move from #2 to #4. I'd hope DG holds out for an additional #1. Even if it's a 2019 #1.

If the Giants are dead set on staying in the top 5 this is the type of deal that would have to go down for the bills to get their guy.

However, as I said in my initial post it makes zero sense for the browns unless they�re getting future picks and/or players.

The Giants move 2 spots....and gets their 22nd pick. seems fine.

so what else does Cleveland get

2 2nds, 2 3rd and 2019 1st.....seems tight

Cleveland goes from 1 to 2 (3000-2600=400 pts owed)
Cleveland goes from 4 to 12 (1800-1200=600 pts owed)
NY goes from 2 to 4 (2600-1800=800pts owed)
So NY goes to 4 and gets 22 (22=780pts pts)
And Cleveland goes to 2 and 12 and gets 53 + 56+ 65 ( 370+ 340+265 pts) and 2019 2nd rd pick

Browns may ask for 2019 1st rd pick in that equation.

As for why this could work:

Giants dont mind because they werent dead set at QB at the top of the draft and get Barkley at 4 while getting another 1st rounder. Browns agree because Giants tell them they are taking Barkley at #2 anyways if they dont do the deal. Browns get their top QB at 2 in Allen. Giants tell Browns if you take Barkley at #1 we trade pick to team that wants Allen (could very well be Bills).

So Cleveland would get the 12th pick this year, one of Buffalos 2nd round picks, NYG would drop to pick 4, get pick 22 and 65.

But if it was true would probably be good for NYG. Bills take a QB, Browns take a QB, Jets take a QB, Giants draft Barkley at 4, plus picks.

But I'm not buying it at all. I highly doubt this nobody is breaking the story on a massive deal like this.

Well only if Denver really likes who's left. Sloppy seconds is bad enough but filthy fourths? Not likely but possible.

Barkley at 1 or 2. They will take the QB, I don�t see the big gain for Cleveland to do this. I uunderstand the picks, but right now they could get their choice of QB and Barkley at 4 (potentially) by staying put.

Sy gave Hernandez a pretty low grade. I would think one of the other guards might be around at 22.

Then another Hog Mollie at 34 would make for an amazing 1-2-3 punch to start the draft. Come back later and kill it in Rd 3 and BBI will be going crazy.

See that deal happening. Cleveland is in a great position now and has a ton of picks. The Giants will wait until draft day to even truly think about trading and even then I don�t see them dropping to 12 and the gain for Cleveland doesn�t seem worth it. Unless the Bills really sweeten the pot somehow.

but I would absolutely love to move down only two spots and pick up a late first/early second rounder for it. That would be amazing. You get Barkley/Rosen/Chubb and another early pick? Wow.

Not saying this is going to happen but I can see some logic behind it as to benefiting all teams involved:

Cleveland goes from 1 to 2 (3000-2600=400 pts owed)

Crazy part is I don't think that would be their path, if they are going to trade down its likely for Barkely.

What may happen though is Elway could come knocking with some more picks to swap the 4 and 5 and we still end up getting Barkley after 2 trade-downs.

Would need to give up 2-3 of top 2 rd picks to go to #1.

and when the check comes and you split it up and then afterwards you find out you paid more than everybody else.
