With all the holes being punched into the top prospects seems like maybe this draft is not too strong. I haven’t been a big proponent of taking Chubb until now. These QB’s don’t blow me away and Barkley seems too high of a risk at #2. Especially when there are other backs that can produce for us. The Giants have to go with the best bang for the buck and that’s Chubb IMO.
there are a ton of high quality edge rushers, cornerbacks, tight ends and rbs in this draft.
I don't see how you can say there is no Brees, Brady or Rodgers, nobody knows that, Rodgers was drafted #17 or so and we all know where Brady was picked so you really can't make that statement.

Even if I think that the QB’s are being overrated (personally I think there are one or two that may have a ceiling of Eli Manning if developed properly. I do not see a Brady, a Brees, a Rodgers, etc. in this class), there is still plenty of talent. The knock on Barkley is more about the value the NFL places on RB and the overall depth in this year’s draft at the position. The main downside that I see is that after the first 10-12 or so players, you are likely to see comparable players getting drafted middle of the first round as you are the end of the second. That is what scares me about a potential trade down with Buffalo unless the return is substantial. I don’t want to be in a spot where the only top tier player left is Derwin James as he may be the one person who doesn’t fill a position of need on this roster because we have Landon Collins

Good Post. And where was Brees picked? 32nd overall. So the OP does not see a Brady, Brees or Rodgers, but even Brady, Brees and Rodgers didn't look like Elway, Rivers or Eli Manning.

Philip Rivers was drafted 4th overall, how many Super Bowls has he won? Rick Mirer? Tim Couch? Jake Locker? There are people here on BBI who have compared this year’s crop to the best of all time just because of how many are projected to be drafted in the Top 12 picks. All I am saying is that I think it is being overrated because, in my personal opinion, there are no perennial Pro Bowl QB’s in this year’s crop. There are some who I think can be long term starters if developed correctly, but not necessarily one who by his presence makes it a great offense even with lesser supporting cast
Stay at #2 and get maybe a great player
