But I wanted to post this because it is very intriguing. Obviously it is not complete but I guess it is the beginning of what could be?
We are only 10 days away from the 2018 & #8203;NFL Draft. We have heard many different reports as far as which teams will draft whom, and if any will look to move up in the draft.
The New York Jets shifted many big boards when they made a deal with the Indianapolis Colts to leap ahead to pick No. 3 of the first round, but that may not be all. There are now rumors that a massive three-team trade may be in the works.
And this one would flip everything upside down.

Multiple Folks saying #Bills #Giants #Browns working on 3 Team Trade... Browns would slide to 2nd, Bills would land 1st Overall & Giants would slide to 4th or 12th. Heard it from few people.... Browns would be monetizing taking Josh Allen... Remember, it's silly season...
The Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills and New York Giants may have something brewing. The Browns would land the Giants' No. 2 overall pick, the Giants would then get the Bills' No. 4 and No. 12 picks, while the Bills would find themselves with the No. 1 overall pick.

The nerve!
and no way, Giants get 12 as well..that would go to Cleveland.
My understanding
Buffalo gets 2nd
Giants gets 4 and 22nd
Cleveland moves 8 spots to 12.....and both of Buffalos 2nds....and 2019 1st.
The nerve!
Nothing... nor is it a big deal... we just try to cut down on repetitive threads on this site and there's already a few about this very rumor. Tom's a big boy though who's been around for awhile... I think he can handle some good-natured ribbing.

This only works if Cleveland doesn’t want Barkley and one from Allen, Darnold or Rosen, Cleveland is OK with a second choice at QB and Buffalo is in absolute love with 1 and only 1 QB.
I assume Giants end up with 4th and 22nd overall, Cleveland ends up with 2nd and 12th overall plus multiple picks and / or players from Buffalo.
Giants would get #4 and #12. And maybe the Bills' 2019 2nd rounder?
Bills would have the #1 pick and get the QB they covet.
Then the Giants could take Barkley #4, and if the Giants wanted to they could try to trade up to #7 and get Chubb or Nelson (using one of their 2018 3rd rounders). I think all of that would be worth it to get 2 of the 3 non-QB elite prospects in this draft!

He's under contract with the Giants. This is nonsense.
I think twostep's point was to illustrate the lack of credibility in the source of this thread's original post.
Yea, I don't understand why the Giants would give anything up anyway, especially a 1st rounder next year. Aren't they moving down in this scenario?
this 3 way trade can work and be a win/win/win for everyone as long as Buffalo is truly willing to forgo a slew of picks.....and Cleveland moving back 8 spots for most of those picks.
No one gets screwed in the below scenario:
TRADE DOWN SCENARIO #4: 3-WAY TRADE WITH BROWNS AND BILLS + 2nd TRADE WITH DENVER
Cleveland goes from 1 to 2 (3000-2600=400 pts owed)
Cleveland goes from 4 to 12 (1800-1200=600 pts owed)
Cleveland total=1000pts owed
NY goes from 2 to 4 (2600-1800=800pts owed)
NY total=800pts owed
So NY goes to 4 and gets 22 (22=780pts pts)
And Cleveland goes to 2 and 12 and gets 53+ 56+ 65 ( 370+ 340+265 pts=975 pts) and 2019 1st rd pick
As for why this could work:
Strategic Trade Down while still drafting BPA. Yesterday’s 3-team trade rumor has me intrigued because it is win for all 3 teams. Buffalo seems to be willing to trade away the farm to move up for a QB. The Giants seems to be open to a small trade down (not 12) and The Browns 2 biggest needs are QB and LT. They will get the QB with their 1st pick but their 2nd @ 4 is too early for McGlinchey, possibly the best LT in the draft (or Connor Williams/Kolton Miller), so I understand why moving to 12 is not such a bad idea……and getting a ton of extra picks.
