NFT: Lou Reed. Coney Island Baby.

A great song.

An entertaining video of what may appear to be post WWII Coney Island fun. (?)

Just another pre-draft distraction.

Everything in this video is taboo now.

Lou Reed / Velvet Underground... rock giants, more influential to rock than the Beatles.

But one question...
Quote:
They said I was a little too lightweight to play linebacker and so I'm playing right-end
If he was too light to play LB, why would they move him to DE? Was "right end" something other than a DL back in the 60's?

I'm a fan. Saw him in late 90s, but not sure about "more influential to rock than the Beatles".

Milton, it depends. Was DrDom really wise and funny? haha.

No. Dr. D was a nickname some friends/co-workers gave me back in the day - the 90s.

In a live version of the song, he cuts off after this and says "actually I was a pole vaulter. . . " meaning that he did track and didn't play football at all.
it was from the awesome take no prisoner's version

That's a bold statement. But I do love that record. My son has my old vinyl copy and he still plays it so I guess it's good enough to appeal across generations. And that reminds me. My son can still play some of my albums from as far back as the 70s. I'm not sure I ever owned a CD that lasted even 15 years.
